please, write something you understand and not something you know will be popular. she's not underrated. she's a fucking genius. but all comments that includes "ahead of time" and "underrated" is nothing but a sign of singularity/stupidity. and I don't mean to be rude, I just have to tell the truth.

to me the lyrics speak of a rift between two people: a difference in what they want or think they want. from this springs a well of emotions: angst, yearning, desire. if there's any lesson in those words i'd say it's something like: be brave to be vulnerable and share your feelings and thoughts with others who you love or would love to love. possibly by doing that, you give them the courage and space to share their desires, needs, and wants with you!

Still a great song, great singer. La Roux needs to come back louder!
