This is actually really good. I'm surprised, most of NIS games aren't nearly as well-written as this. Favorite quote "I am so happy big sister! I was so worried when you turned into the demon lord and starting summoning demons!" which you have to admit is reasonable enough.

LOL that bit about "Dark Hero" fitting Captain Homard is a seiyu joke, since his japanese VA also voices Dark Hero Axel from Disgaea 2

Wow, it is so ironic that you are skipping almost every enemy but the plot is trying to make her feel like she killed everything.

Woah, this random game I got from my brother actually has a deep plot. I'm still farming stats and elements on my basic four items in the sewers. Prier and the gang are still level 2 xD The idea of a whole side story that can change the main story through an optional world is an awesome idea.

i like the dark saint path better cause im used to prier being a demon rather than a human (because i havent played la pucelle but when i saw prier as an extra character in disgaea and disgaea 2 i liked her) its probably because i love the succubus type of monster class and i was like i want a char (thats not generic but has a succubus type of look) then enter prier and im like dang shes gonna be in my party

Man, that was a trip. Thanks for the upload! Loved the way this played out, there's a lot more here than the main story for me.

Oh boy ovo I just got the Prier DLC in disgaea d2 (yes i am.pretty late to the party xD) and just kinda got the urge to find more about Prier since i never played La pucelle. I'm pretty excited to watch the whole video~

I'm so glad I was able to oblige you! I think her DD2 rendering (in both forms) is probably the most accurate portrayal of her character in the series. It's definitely worth checking out this translation of the game if you'd like a little bit more NIS tactical gameplay, dood.

I love the French names of places in this game. XD

Same for me ! Level 45-50 are wimps, need at least level 70, but grinding is so bothersome... This video was a lifesaver !

The demons probably gave her the title of Demon Lord because she was so good at slaughtering the forces of Hell that they essentially went on the Nope Train to Fuckthatville when she came there. Now if only Doom Guy/Doom Slayer ever saw her, though...

And eventually they crown her as an overlord in a bad ending that's how crazy powerful she became in that route that demons made her an overlord hence why Disgaea 5 dlc and probably in other dlc the demon priere has the overlord title.

This is way better tha the original story

Hey! I completed the story while ago! But after that it gives me all the characters except Eclair! Im just wondering did I made some mistake or is there way to get her back again?? She´s my favourite characters in game! Also I been pretty far enjoy the game its wonderfull except that issue!

my save created 2 ecclair, my was level 25 but there was another at level 1

I used to have this game, and while I became a demon lord with Prier, I had no idea this continues... Mine just ended..😅

Dark saint ending is the true ending for the game pretty sure you have to do lots of things to properly get the the dark saint route yours ended probably missed some important key points In getting to the dark saint route. (Also I know it's late)

Do you know what happens when you get 100% items via the Udon shop?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the version with the brackets is the official translation (PS2; not PSP). I just looked up "La Pucelle Rangarok PSP English patch" and found it that way. Sorry I don't recall better than that; it's been a few years.

How do you compare this game to Disgaea and Phantom Brave in terms of variety and longevity ?

It's much more straightforward in terms of progression and while you can always find stuff to grind out, the post-game content is really a bit lacking compared to the robust post-game of many Disgaea entries. I'd say it's worth playing just to say you have (and to get some context for some of the unlockable/DLC characters in some of the Disgaea games), but if you're looking for something to sink hundreds of hours into, Disgaea is definitely the way to go. Don't get me wrong; there's a lot of bang for your buck; it's just a little shorter and more direct than other NIS software titles. Hope that helps!

@@paxhumana2015 As far as La Pucelle in the original PS2 version is concerned, the Pal version has the new game+ option and more bonus bosses than the ntsc version, so I'd say the original US and Japanese release have the least long time value, the later Japanese and the European version have more.

@@Ryusuta I don't know I'm over 800 hours into La Pucelle Ragnarok, it's more than I ever had in any Disgaea, seems long time motivating enough to me. I'm presently working on being able to one hit Eringa Baal with each main character, and since I still need 2 hits with my strongest (Prier and Eclair) it will still take a while.

Is it possible to make Overlord Priere transform in PS2 Version too or is it only avaible in Ragnarok version??

There's a walkthrough in the description. Remember that you're playing the Demon Lord mode, which is PSP exclusive. It's not on the PS2 version.

I just notice that after you clear this story there is bug you get double eclair instead of only one eclair and all so no cornet character lucky to switch version there is English voice

I wonder what would have happened if you attacked your friends at the beginning of chapter 4

You just get the normal (bad) ending. Basically, you finish the fight and in the next cutscene, Salade smacks some sense into her and she sees that all of her friends are beaten down because of her.

Now i want priere with this personality but demon form at disgaea series Not like i hate priere demon form with pure destruction seeking the strong opponent but but this is better for me

Late but Disgaea 2 Priere is different personality from dlc In Disgaea 5 if anything althou Disgaea 2 Priere don't talk much unless you have her and you summon dark eclair in the dlc.
