Although I have finished this game and cheesed on the post-game fights with Mircales, I hope that one day I could recruit Baal as my party member.

That lowest level Baal from the original game release is recruitable, only Disgaea Baal upwards are not.

When you start New Game+, a new POI will be unlocked on the word map. You can recruit all the Disgaea characters there (except Hero Prinny). You have to beat them first but it shouldn't be hard if you have the warp drive.

@@JRPGFanatic I just got the game not long ago (Due to my love for Disgaea) And I'm in new game plus and have the 3 level 1 prinnys but when I try to interact with the new area it just says "It looks like no one's here..." Do I have to progress further in the story?

​@Kaefer1973 If I remember correctly they wouldn't appear until I made prier transform from demon lord back to normal, So try making sure prier isn't in her demon form and see if that works.

I really wish they remaster the Mana Khemia games

For when the characters' special attacks?

Does Ragnarok still have the Overlord title? I've seen people recruit Baal, but when I purify with the Demon Lord title and a purification power above 1600 it doesn't appear to do anything. The requirements in the original were so obtuse that I keep finding contradicting sources on how to unlock it and the only discussion I found on obtaining it in Ragnarok is someone asking if it got removed in favour of Overlord Mode (which I already got the good ending on yet it still apparently doesn't work)

Yup, it's Demon Lord. 1600 sounds low to me (specifically for Baal) so you might have to do a lot of purification. I still don't have the equipment or levels to kill him yet so I haven't tried. Also if you start New Game+ you have to get the title over again.

After getting demon lord title you need to equip anyone with baptism attack a purify 100% item skill and normal attack Baal, you need a chance of baptism attack to activate and when you land the hit it should say Baal has decided to join you, you need to kill him afterwards, it’s recommended to recruit the minions first though.

@@miwakeiya Ok, but is there a way to remove skills from Prier? The Treasure Hunt skill appears to have higher priority whenever I'm trying to recruit monsters in the Dark World.

@@miwakeiya last but not least, how do I obtain the physical item above God Hand. I heard you got the Light Year Cannon by getting the Overlord title, but now that it's no longer a thing I want to know if it got changed or even if number 36 is a fakeout

Do all the unique characters permentally join i heard they leave at times in the story

They do leave but if you clear the game with the good ending on overlord path, they join at the start of NG+ and stay

@@garra123454 When you beat the game, it'll give you an option to chose how to start again (normal or overlord). There is also a cheat code but I don't know if that will give you the characters at the beginning if you go with this method. Cursor on new game, X Y B X Y B A If you're on PC then whatever prompts are mapped to (menu, change facing, back) x2 -> Confirm. You'll get a message from Prier if done correctly.
