The population of La Paz has grown greatly since the 2000s. The growth is largely because the city has one of the highest standards of living and security in Mexico.
La Paz is served by the Manuel Márquez de León International Airport with flights to the most important cities of Mexico: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey. Airlines flying into La Paz include Aeroméxico Connect, Volaris and VivaAerobus. Two ferry services operate from the port of Pichilingue outside the city, connecting the Baja California peninsula to the mainland at Mazatlán and Topolobampo, near Los Mochis.

I am here now 12-18-2023 from nyc. Weather is perfect. Cool in the early morning and hot enough for me to sweat during my noon walk. No heat needed in the apartment I rented. Maybe it's bc I came from a colder place but I love the weather here in December.

How old is this video. La Perla is gone and now being replace with condo's. I see it's posted a year ago but has to be at least two years. I'm there every year for 2 months in La Paz. Not quite sure about the amount you quote for the rent. Yes, La Paz is a very nice place to stay, definitely not like Cabo.

There’s no way to rent a “nice house or apartment” for less than $1500 if you are near the malecon or sea view. Not any more. and our electricity bill this summer was $250 for 2 months with just one mini split running at a time.
@4KTravelChannel
7 ай бұрын
Well, the local market has changed because of tourism. But 250 a month for electricity is way too much. Double check the usage, it might be a mistake.

Hey Julie , thanks for the realistic dollar numbers regarding rent and utilities in La Paz. Expats from North America and elsewhere are inflating costs all over Latin America and South America as well .

@@4KTravelChannel I think you're going off average and not localized areas. Say for instance the cost of living in Dallas/Austin/Houston are going to bring the entire average of the state of Texas up even though there are lots of cheaper places to live. But it's not bad, and the view is awesome. But the living costs can be found in the US.

Depending on someone's lifestyle, you can simply live in La Paz for $1,200 a month. That $1,200 alone is only covering rent in the US.
