piplupcola I saw this video before I watched the movie (this video making me WANT to see the movie), and I thought Peter was actually in the movie at first.

to everyone saying this isn't as good as the original: of course it isn't. she isn't a professional actress and he isn't a professional actor. the point is that they wanted to make a cover of it and decided to put in all the extra effort of recreating scenes for it. so appreciate it, and don't hate.

Another beautiful performance. I've discovered so many great new songs from the two of you and 9 times out of 10 prefer your version to the original! I love seeing your love song duets together because you bring them to life. The way you look at each other with such love it brings so much warmth and emotion to the performance the audience feel it. Lyrics about "this could never be" however really aren't convincing when you clearly adore one another xD

This is one of the few KZread covers of _La La Land_ that actually captures the spirit of the movie. So many covers just seem like they were made by people who only listened to the soundtrack, but this one is vocally on point and sounds like it could fit into the actual film.
