Evynne Hollens is a Broadway singer and KZreadr primarily known for her online videos & live performances. With over 46 million views on KZread, she releases music videos monthly; frequently popular music & Disney covers. A native of the Pacific Northwest, she resides in OR with her husband Peter Hollens and is a Mom, a performer and artistic director. She co-founded Divisi, the University of Oregon’s award-winning female a cappella group, featured in the best-selling book & inspiration for the hit feature film “Pitch Perfect". In 2017, Evynne made her Broadway debut in Home for the Holidays, a live Broadway Christmas Concert event featuring winners of American Idol, The Voice, America's Got Talent, and The Bachelorette, at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre. Based on what you just said, it appears that I have such a hard time staying hydrated... and not for the usual reasons either. I am ALWAYS thirsty. Health Canada's recommended water intake is 3.7L/day. I drink at least 5.6L/day, when I'm not singing, and closer to 10L/day when I'm singing, and my lips are still dry, and I'm still thirsty. I don't know or understand why. Like, even when I had an ultrasound appointment-- they asked me to drink around 1L of water 1 hour before the appointment, and I did. They rescheduled me because they said that they couldn't see anything because I didn't drink enough water. I told them that I drank the amount they told me to. I remember that the last time I had an ultrasound though, I had to drink two 2L bottles of water before they could see anything. To consider things that could be dehydrating me-- I drink 1 cup of coffee daily. When I sing, I finish my cofee first, and then drink at least 1 or 2 cups of peppermint tea right after, hoping that it might counter the dehydrating effect of coffee. PS: I have a genetic rare disease that even doctors don't know much about. Not sure if it interferes with my ability to sing.

🎉 Re-enjoying this lovely piece in 2024. A couple things come to mind: 1) It's hard for me to believe or wrap my brain around the fact that Hamilton - the Father of the Treasury - truly did not believe (or perhaps he didn't think that far ahead) that by spilling his guts all over the front pages of a 19th century paper wasn't going to bring scrutiny and scorn to his life. 2) Yet at the same time too, for as angry as Eliza was at him for what he had done ..... in the end and after his death she actually ended up being his staunchest and strongest advocate 😢💔.
