The end score really doesn't reflect how bad the Mavs looked in that 1st half but when Luka and Kyrie get going its gonna be tough to beat. Should be a great series and probably the best 1st round matchup this season

We promised Mavs we won’t even bring him in until we face off with OKC.. we’ll give them until Game 3 to prove it’s not “first game jitters” 😂

This matchup is the one I'm most looking forward to in the first round.

Clippers shot 50% from 3, that is not sustainable. The terrible field goal percentage for both teams is interesting...scoring in the paint was murder. A very strange game.

Not that strange, Clippers gameplan was to attack the print with Zubac exploiting Gaffold and lively and PJ. That is going to be a problem for mavs if they advance

Mavs with 33 free throws 20 more than Clips, no Kawhi, 20% FG on Mavs in 8 point quarter? (38% game) Terrible defense, but amazing defense on Clippers especially 1st half, Tye Lue is a way better coach than Kidd, if nothing changes in the coaching/will to win and Kawhi returns in game 2, life is going to get hard for Mavs and it's fans.

This had nothing to do with Clippers defense. Mavs had a really bad shooting night. Open 3's, lay ups, dunks...nothing went in... not even a single "and 1"

When we think about the amount of fts the mavs got and still lost is mind numbing, kawhi didnt even play, and btw clipper can just cycle the C position so they wont overuse zubac, so what if the 3 point goes cold, PG harden and russ can score in the paint, the question is what if the mavs 3point spams goes cold like today?? they got no defense, blow out

Mavs had a horribly bad shooting night. Open 3's, lay ups, floaters, even dunks...nothing went in. From all those ft there was not a single "and 1".

Kidd hätte einmal die Couch's- Challenge nehmen müssen als Clips drei Freiwürfe bekamen obwohl Harden ganz klar sein Bein unnatürlich ausgestreckt hat, um ein Foul zu bekommen. Seltsamerweise blieb er still. Finds aber witzig wie alle Mavs als haushohen Favoriten sahen nur weil Kawhi verletzt ist, dabei haben Clips immer noch Harden, PG und Russ, die in Form jedes NBA Team wegfegen können. Wahrscheinlich werden die Mavs die nächsten Spiele besser auftreten, aber in 85% der Fälle gewinnt jenes Team die Serie welches in Game 1 zuhause ein Sieg erringen konnte.

I think Doncic is going to learn the same lesson KD did in Brooklyn a few years back, a 2 man game with Kyrie wont win playoffs, it makes it too easily to guard.
