[L238] ASSA Twin Combi 4800 w. Tree Driver - pick and gut

This ASSA Twin Combi has 6 tree spool driver pins with matching countermilling in the plug. In addition, 3 of the 5 side chambers are populated with finger pins that need to be rotated and lifted to set into a sidebar. I'll be attempting to pick this a Rytan 0.023" hook, a Multipick MP10 flag, and a top of keyway (TOK) tensioner from Aliexpress.

Thank you! I'm a bit rusty but spent a couple days picking some highsec locks before filming this to get back into the groove of things :)

Very nice walk though. Those old style trees look pretty cool. I'm currently working on a twin combi and I'm struggling to determine when my finger pins are set in the gate. Any advice?

Once a finger pin is set, it'll jiggle to spring tension, but feel like it has a hard stop at the top of the movement range...if you press to hard you can pop it out of the gate though. If you look for a binder and lift it but it never drops into a gate, you likely have the wrong rotation, so have to let off tension, try a different rotation and repeat.

Почему Вы замки всё время кверху ногами вскрываете? В двери же они установлены "лезвием" ключа вниз.

This is the direction they're installed in the United States, it's not "upside down", it's just not the direction that YOU are used to. I've already practiced picking locks in every orientation (upside-down, sideways, blindfolded, etc) so I already know I can do so. As such I tend to pick locks in the most comfortable orientation for me.

@@tilulenshpigel2023 Thank you, that's some good information! I get asked about "upside down" every now and then, people don't realize that the whole world doesn't all do things the same way.

Если кто не понял про "кверху ногами" - это была шутка)), конечно же я знаю что в разных странах замки ставят по-разному. Но всё равно, всем спасибо!
