I am never going to tailor a man's jacket, but everything you are teaching applies to my home sewing.I am self-taught, so much of the details and results is new to me. I want at this late date, age 79, to raise my skills to expert levels. Thanks for the lessons.

Hi Reza, finally found the time to watch from start to end. I am so heavily impressed by the the thoughts and precisson you and your team are putting into this. You totally nailed the precess!! The breakdown from a finished coat to actionable steps is really impressive. You even included KPIs to check if the product is correct so far. 😳 Br Matej

Do you have courses in drafting specialized patterns in formal suits and jackets?

can you make a Neapolitan jacket with your pattern? Those coats seem to be just right for the current zeitgeist, soft, curvy lines, natural shoulders, 3-2 configuration, there's an informality to them that somehow works better than the stuffy, padded, drapey silhouette of the classical jacket but my tailor just can't get those shoulders right, whatever he does they don't look concave but rather in a straight line and the sleevehead doesn't "melt" with the chest area even when he does spalla camicia.

You can do it, however, adjustments need to be made to the pattern. Every pattern contains a particular construction. If the construction changes, the pattern will not render completely true. Reza

Hi Reza, your lessons are great and I learn a lot. I do have a quistion: The back of the arms are basted 1 cm from the thread markings and top basted after that. The same is done with the underarm side seams of the jacket. As the threadmarkings are marking the edge of the pattern it seems the jacket and sleeves are made two cm smaller. Could you please explaine?

Hi Reza, thanks for the videos. Can you please tell me where you show attaching the back panels together? At 34:00, the panels are already attached. Is this done right on the mark stitching, or did you sew in 3/8"?
