L'OREAL PARIS ELVIVE BOND REPAIR PRE-SHAMPOO TREATMENT REVIEW | OLAPLEX / REDKEN ABC DUPE?
After trying the L’Oréal bond repair shampoo and conditioner I knew I had to try more from the range and this time I am trying the pre-shampoo treatment from the line. I’m excited to see how this works!

Hi Amy. Oh wow, your hair looks amazing. Can you do a video using the entire line of this one?. I can imagine you will get good results. Thank you for the video ❤

Thanks so much! I definitely can, it’s such a wonderful line of products and has made my hair feel amazing 🥰
I swear the L’oreal Everpure Bond Repair line has the same pre-shampoo treatment(w/ 14% citric acid) and its even cheaper. Definitely an ultimate dupe for the Redken one.

@@Blondeamyyes!! n the fact that L'oreal owns Redken🤯
Thank you for this review the results are great. How would you describe the smell? Does it smell similar to any other Elvive range (except of the bond line)?

Thanks so much, the results are really fantastic! There are similarities in the scent but the bond repair line does have a slightly different scent compared to the dream lengths ect ☺️

I am sensitive to smell and this treatment has a low odour that is tolerable in my opinion.
Hi Amy, fist wanted to say for whatever reason most bonding treatments don't seem to work with my hair. I am not trying to be negative deliberately when I comment saying things don't work for me, I am sharing in case it helps others or in case someone else with the same experience can help me. I tried this treatment and the first time I was really impressed my hair felt smoother after and I thought I finally found one that worked for me. The next time I used it my hair felt good after washing it for a few hours but then I noticed my hair was really dry. My hair is bleached and should love bonding / repair products like so many people do but for whatever reason it doesn't. I wish I knew why. I have come to the conclusion that my hair is happier with just straight shampoo and conditioner or a mask and does not want treatments or any kind of leave in product. I will keep trying though and appreciate your reviews so thank you :)

Hey lovely! Thanks for your comment and the beauty of haircare is that not everything works for everyone, else there would only be a handful of products available on the market. The dry nature of your hair following use may be down to the lack of conditioning ingredients instead of the bond repair though - if you use products with sulphates or silicones usually - but use a product without them, you may notice your hair feeling stripped. Which shampoo and conditioner do you use usually? ☺️

@@Blondeamy Thanks for your response, I have heard that said before but I always condition my hair after washing out or rinsing out any treatment. I have always used Pantene. I know everyone thinks it's no good but I have tried and tested so many products over my 50 years and it's the only conditioner that makes my hair silky (silicone free for a year left me with a birds nest of tatty and was awful on my hair). Im starting to think it's just dry and courser now due to my age as I never even use heat on my hair.
Have found putting this before I go into the sauna which is obviously more than 5 mins..really good. Used with nioxin shampoo and conditioner really good.

Using before a sauna is a very good idea!! I’ll steal that when I next head to a spa ☺️

Ok so should I buy this or the full restore range? Both look good but the full restore range is half the price! I'm upgrading my hair care and this looks like the right one but idk.
