Hey Ghoul!! Wow your hair turned out great! I wish I looked good with black hair I'd do mine. I have thyroid disease and I've lost a ton of hair so I understand but your hair looks really good! 🖤🌙💫

Genetics can be radically different, just factoring that in alone. I am late 40's and have less grey hair than you did, just 2 faint stripes on the top of my head. A friend of mine who is a decade younger than me went full grey years ago. I used to dye my hair black for ages & loved it, but had to stop in my mid 40's because it started looking harsh and ageing me more. The black looks STUNNING on you & highlights your youthful face, although you still look great with grey too. As someone who has also dealt with hairloss(it's common for women in perimenopause) my dermatologist suggested I wash with Nixorol shampoo around my hairline(where my hormonal hair loss is) and letting it sit for 5 mins on my scalp in the shower. It's an antidandruff shampoo, and though I don't how it is for that because I don't have it, she said it stimulates the hair follicles. Many other perimenopausal women recommended Mielle hair oil to me and I used it awhile but it didn't work for me like them. I have been on Rogaine for months and my hair stopped falling out. It's wild all the stuff you learn women go through in menopause that isn't commonly shared and you find out the hard way. I cannot even fathom all you have had to deal with from losing half of your thyroid. I don't know if anything I have shared will be helpful, but I do know what it is like having your hair fall out as a woman and I hope your situation improves for you.

@@BellaRigelOrionI started getting gray hair when I was 21, but after the surgery they started sprouting out everywhere. I just didn't like my gray hair pattern. I might try again in a year or so. And wow, that seems like quite a journey to figure out how to control the hair loss and I'm sure quite frustrating. I wish we could be those people with 10 pounds of hair on our head so it wouldn't matter if we lost some cause we would still have a hole bunch 😅
