L'Arche - Jean Vanier
L'Arche is a community of people who have, in some cases, severe disabilities. This film introduces us to Jean Vanier, who explains how he set up L'Arche in 1964.
This clip, and another called 'L'Arche: Cranberries' is taken from a BBC documentary, Everyman: Science Friction, which discussed genetic selection, broadcast in 1996. I struggled to find this film, recently borrowing a copy from L'Arche headquarters.
No copyright infringement is intended - I just wanted people to be able to find out more about this inspiring man and the community he began nearly 50 years ago.

We’ve (re)learned a valuable lesson in Jean Vanier to never canonise someone while they’re alive or just after they’ve died. Pray for the deceased, and pray for his victims and those crushed by this terrible news 🙏
