$25 for parking, $30 to get in, $20 for a sausage dog, $7 for a coke. OMG, it's not that I can't afford it, it's just ridiculous. At some point ya just got to say NO, too much $. Anyway, was better watching through the eyes of the GIV, and not have to deal with all the people. Thanks Mike, for taking me to the fair, You're the best!!!

$82.00 plus gasoline and daily car insurance, probably another $5.00 for the day. $100.00 day. This dose not include ride tickets costs or a few games. Crazy

My favorite venue as well it gets smaller every year. It's now under the grandstand. At least it was a few years back.

I used to look forward to going to the LA County Fair back in the 90's. As I watch this from my home in Lawndale, 4 miles away from the Pacific shoreline, I'm profoundly glad that I'm not there right now. The traffic I'm avoiding, the money I'm not spending, and the peace, quiet, and comfort of not being there sweating, paying overbloated prices for whatever, and waiting in lines for this, that and the other thing. Hell yes I'm so glad not to be there.

So when did the LA County fair switch from the end of Sept to the Memorial Weekend? I guess they got tired of the 113 degree grand openings.

Memories of my cousin taking me to the state fair in Washington. When they had dime toss. I did get to go on rides & now i don't. Lucky i guess. Corn dogs were paramount n guilty pleasure. Thx GiV🎉
