The Singer is a competition show for professional singers. Most of the contestants are Chinese but they usually invite a couple of foreign singers. That season it was KZ and Jessie J. Since they were the only English speakers on the show (aside from interpreters), KZ and Jessie J quickly became friends and supported each other throughout the season. Jessie J was one of KZ's big influences and she idolized her, so she was thrilled to get to know Jessie J. They sang together in the season finale when Jessie J performed Bang Bang and KZ's smile couldn't have been any bigger..

Awesome! You guys should definitely check out her cover of the hurts you never knew on the same show the singer. She learned and sang the whole song in mandarin.

This is from singer 2018 and it is an Invite only show for well known Artist, and KZ was Invited and Rolling in the deep was her first song and got 57/58% 0f the votes But because this is a Chinese show and the Chinese and the Philippines have a ongoing feud ...One No expected her to be that like so when she Did Royals only got 4% of the votes (most say the voting machines were shut off) ??? but either way she was out of the running after "Royals" Jessie J won this 2018 show she was a contestant just like the others there (both Little John and Chen Hu loved her performance) Loved her ...Jessi J is / was always will be KZ's Idol so she got to meet her Idol, and they will be doing something in the future .....and The Guitar Player was from the same Providence as KZ.......He Really loved her, and hoped to get to be (together) but KZ had no interest in him...and brushed off all his affections...still plays for her somethings

If you two connected to that one...would definitely like to see your reactions toKZ's 5 remaining Singer 2018 performances. Especially to "The Hurts You Never Knew" and "Anak." *look for the ones with an English translation. These two always make my eyes welled up:) Both are powerful and has that KZ Style stamped on them (as do ALL of her performances)...but the degree of difficulty on these 2 are even higher as she had to learn Chinese to sing them! This girl is so magnificent in front of a camera and she has a definitive KZ Style that she stamps on each song.
