She is the grand winner of the XFACTOR Philippines, and Singer 2018 fly to the Philippines to get contestant for the show, several singers had auditioned but KZ was picked because of her exceptional and AMAZING talent, in her first appearance in the TV show in China, she won and just beat JESSIE J AND JESSIE became the second place. KZ IS A VERSATILE SINGER, and dominantly singing prowess.

She used a voicebox at the intro. I couldn't listen to Adele's version after watching this - KZ's was just too cool!

It's autotune. She mentioned about it in one of her vlogs. The show allowed her to use it at the intro. It was actually brilliant how she manipulated the tool real-time to incorporate in this song and give off an effect - catches peoples' attention. It's easier to use autotune to edit recordings but using it in real-time will take skill. Singers / rappers like T-Payne and Kanye use it all the time.

For all of you who aren’t well versed in music peoduction, listen up! There’s two ways to use auto tune. Fist, it is use to correct out of tune notes to the right note. Second, is to use auto tune as an effect on the voice in an artistic way or creative way. KZ used it in a more Adriatic way and not to hide wrong notes. Call it whatever you want. It’s a good intro and approach to the song. It made the listener interested to hear the rest of the song. An artistic choice. And it works with the arrangement of the song. The original is still the best way to sing this song. Nothing beats original specially the meaning of the song to the adel

It's actually not an auto tune, they just added a bit of echo to make it more dramatic. And KZ is the one who arrange the key of the song😊

Then of course, barely a few years later, came the mind blowing UK X Factor audition of 4th Impact which made me fall even deeper in love with the Phillipines music industry ❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭❤️. The talent in that nation is OUT OF THIS WORLD 🤪🤪🤪

1:45 Yes, the very beginning portion is auto-tuned, that's on purpose, its part of her act for this specific song. She is going for a certain effect, but she only used is at the beginning and only for this song. She does this same effect on this song on the Wishbus a few years ago.

She made an artistic choice in the arrangement to use a vocoder- which is basically a synthesizer that makes her sound like a robot. She totally missed the mark on that one, because nobody understood it, but she is amaaazing. Love KZ. She really is the filipina Twista. ahaha

The auto-tune was not used to enhance her voice, it was a style KZ used to grab the audience. So, it was allowed in the competition as the intro. It also set the dark tone of her mind-set in the song of a woman scorned, as she was "played" by her boyfriend. KZ did the arrangement of the song to make it her own.

Yes Guys. The auto tune was purposely used to create an exotic intro to set the mood.. robotic sound to give that weird feeling. She used auto-tune. KZ is known for her creative Artistry, combining different styles in her music, since she had a surgery and cant belt higher notes - she created a new path for her Music.
