Kyuss did a great job adding extra heavyness, lenght and groove to this song. Moreover, they showcased what their major influence is, which is essentially, IMO, drawn from the exceptional album Master of Reality. Lyrics: Rocket engines burning fuel so fast Up into the night sky they blast Through the universe the engines whine Could it be the end of man and time? Back on earth the flame of life burns low Everywhere is misery and woe Pollution kills the air, the land, the sea Man prepares to meet his destiny, yeah Rocket engines burning fuel so fast Up into the black sky so vast Burning metal through the atmosphere Earth remains in worry, hate and fear With the hateful battles raging on Rockets flying to the glowing sun Through the empires of eternal void Freedom from the final suicide Freedom fighters sent out to the sun Escape from brainwashed winds and pollution Leave the earth to all it's sin and hate Find another world where freedom waits, yeah Past the stars in fields of ancient void Through the shields of darkness where they find Love upon a land a world unknown Where the sons of freedom make their home Leave the earth to Satan and his slaves Leave them to their future in their graves Make a home where love is there to stay Peace and happiness in every day

Desert rock NEVER DIE!!!
I first heard of Kyuss off of this awesome metal compillation back around '93 called "Metalurgy" and liked what I heard. This group brings me back :)
I discovered kyuss from this cover been in love since

Spot on Tone on that Guitar! Great Void Cover Guys! The Vocals are Metal Soothing! The Bass Thumps Melodically! Drums, and Percussion are Dope! Boooom

Heaven And Hell is a masterpiece 🤘
I really love this cover :)
that west coast psyche groove starting at 3:00 is just BRILLIANT thats kyuss at his best, i must agree.

Those lyrics, plus the heaviest riffs ever written = perfection.
3 best sabbath covers are as follows. Kyuss-into the void. Sleep-snowblind. Pantera-planet caravan/hole in the sky
i'm glad to hear that.
This song make Kyuss sound so GOOD... its an testament to how GREAT Sabbath is. Even covering this tune makes you sound cool.

Kyuss is cool as fuck without paying tribute to an obvious influence.
the fact of the matter is, on the original track, we all learned that Iommi is untouchable. this song proves he's the riff master
yeah this cover rocked my day ;D
Arrebatador! Apenas Kyuss sendo o Kyuss
Yes! I've been waiting for someone to post this for fucking ages! Thanks for uploading this.
this def won me over at 3.00 awesome cover
Very good cover, i liked it
Love this! Indie Sabbath!
When your favourite band playing a cover of your favourite band 😍🤩
Yes!!
@67goldtops this may not be his best bass-work, but Scott Reeder is one of the most underrated bassists of the 90's. Actually, ever. Listen to any song off of Welcome to Sky Valley and tell me he doesn't have insane groove.
love this version, they really do a great job of it and make it their own, Melvins do a great version too come to think of it
awesome!
Homme could write such good solos, using only few notes, they're absolutely amazing
WOW, this is some badass DOOM METAL shit!!! I always thought KYUSS had some Sabbath in them, and this jam is fucking perfect!!!
Very cool cover!

QUE SEA ROCK STONER, Síempre!!!
Yeah. Again, it's really amazing how well Pantera and Kyuss seemed to capture the essence of Sabbath in their covers.
SLUDGE O' RIFFIC🔥💀🔥King Garcia never disappoints 👽👽👽
Finding out this exists is a dream come true
Its awesome! its 2019 now!

sweet guitar!!
Longtime & now I bet forever BS admirer. This might be my Kyuss intro (beyond the obvious respect the rare person who mentions them always holds for them). Goddamn. They made it sexy & lost so little with difference that im even awed some. I was just thinking the original is so damn spastic. And those guitar timbres. Mm. Et cet. Way cool
I like this song because it sounds good.
everything.
