    A few years ago I never would have predicted this. Kyrie was the "mercurial" player - you never knew what you would get. I think he definitely matured since his days in Cleveland with LBJ. Kahwi, on the other hand...... (I never saw this back in San Antonio).....

    @@chillstep4lifenah Kyrie had problems before Covid was a thing. He wasn’t like attitude immature but his game was very immature and he had a lot of trouble playing with other ball dominant players. Even in Boston he was like that, when he was on the court they lost more. I think it is because his game was isolated that it was really counter productive to anyone other than him. Now he is learning how mold his game for the entire team, how to be a leader for the young guys. Overall he has evolved into a great leader not just a great player. Lebron told him this and when he apologized to bron for leaving he said bron was right.

  • @etekiii

    @etekiii

    @@snipinmonsta Fun fact : there was no other "dominant player" when he was in Boston. When he was in Cleveland he was completely alone 'till Bron came. During that time he was going thru hell for Bron, they were doing great. When he was in Brooklyn.. yeah let's not talk bout that, injuries, covid drama, they didn't really played that much together (Big 3 includes Harden) but most of the time it was okay it worked out. The only thing we can say is that right now Kyrie is healthier than ever, seems like he learned his body better than in the past. Luka got an incredible trust in him, and he's not trying to force the ball when he see that Ky is in the zone and let him run the play. They complement each other and they're dominant as Bron & Ky were, it's just not the same playstyle

  • @snipinmonsta

    @snipinmonsta

    @@etekiii when he was in Boston both Jaylen brown and Gordon Hayward and Jayson Tatum were all ball dominant players. Also when he was in Cleveland him and lebron had a constant head bumping about his need to control the ball and iso. Bron eventually forced his hand but even Kyrie admitted he was wrong back then and lebron actually helped him learn to become the leader he is today. Health has something to do with it but tbh it really isn’t the main thing.

    They are both really good. Kyrie has better athletics and ballhandling, Luka has the size the range and a better passer. And they make each other better. Also remeber Luka is playing on a sprained Knee, which meses his shooting and limits his movement and still putting same numbers as a healthy Kyrie plus more assists and rebounds. Kyrie os carrying him on the 4th quarters no doubt but thats what Kyrie does, even LBJ deferred to him.

    @@prozekutor They are both all time greats. I am going to quote one thing Kobe said once. "Thank god Iverson is only 6'2". If Kyrie was 6'6 he could very well be the BEST ever. Also important for him to not distract. He has not bee this locked in for a while. He finally is acting like a respectable team leader, and talking like one. Even dressing like one if you saw the suit last night. Team totally trusts him, owner loves him Luka passed him the baton of the locker room even if Kyrye still usually lets Luka shoot and have the ball more than he does. Ky is there for the 4th or for any time Luka gets hurt or tired of doing super human things.
