But you can't teach a player to develop THIS kind of footwork, balance & hand-eye coordination. You're right, Kyrie was born with this kind of gift that no one's ever come to close to having and most likely no one ever will. He was destined to BE this.

i remember watching some of these highlights back in 2012-2013. his evolution of efficiency, adding and taking out moves from his game is superb. my favorite move if his will always be the high dribble he use to do over his opponents early in his game

Yes, he is the best ball handler of all time. I knew this as a Cleveland fan after watching him and LBJ's practice together. Further, he is perhaps the best offensive skill player that the NBA has ever seen, shooting with both hands and using the backboard at high angles. That's what most people don't understand about Irving. When he shoots, he uses the dotting square line, which is where skill is exhibited. It is important to know how to aim and shoot at that square if you want to be a great scorer... that's how Wilt Chamberlain averaged 50 points per game. Chamberlain was a master of shooting at that square.
His ball handling is so pure. No carrying; no traveling or bending the rules for extra steps; no baiting fouls. It’s just him and the ball, and everyone else is just part of his pure show.

6:55 I remember that game so vividly, they were down all game, first year in Cleveland after the bron loss to San Antonio so it was a high stake’s regular season game, and kyrie went crazy that 4th quarter to take it to OT for the win! I was always a fan of his game, but after that I’ll always be a fan of him.
