I'll admit as a Mavs fan I was anxious as all get out when Kai came to Dallas. He drew a lot of negative attention in Brooklyn, and the last thing I wanted was that negative attention resting on my Mavs who were already struggling to get positive media attention, despite having a generational talent and one of the best, if not the THE best, player in the league on the team.
