Kyrie understands the assignment. By empowering the rest of the team by passing the ball they play harder on defense. By empowering the rest of the team it helps the long term goal of competing for a championship. In the next few rounds if they pass okc the rest of the team will be use to getting the ball and use to making plays. Something that will be crucial in the next few rounds.

I just hope that he knows when to turn it on/off. Don't be too passive like Lebron did in 2017 finals game 3 when he passed it to korver late in the game instead of going to the rim to score and/or draw the foul 🤷🏾‍♂️

You guys are delusional it hurts… before it was Kyrie is Selfish because he doesn’t pass the ball. Now that he more into getting everyone involved because he realizes that in order to win they’re going to need more than just him and Luka shooting while everyone else just watches. This is working for them by getting everyone else involved while playing great defense and building other guys confidence.

I totally agree. Him and Luka dropping 30-40 points is not going to win chips. This team don't play well when everyone else isn't clicking. So far it's working against a very good defensive team. I say stay the course until it's his time close out series

I wish he would attack more and get at least 20 he is more than capable

Each series is different, kyrie has been blitzed and hard hedged on every pick and roll this series and they just send help when he tries to go 1 on 1 and they are also in the gaps on the nail in help position when he attacks. Against the clippers he was blitzed but not as much this series which is a big factor as to why he averaged 26. If they get passed the thunder I don’t think he’ll be blitzed as much against Denver especially against Minnesota since they trust Ant, Jaden McDaniels, and walker to defend with no help.
