We've Never Seen This Version Of Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving is well Known for being one of the most dynamic scorers in the NBA. But so far in this playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kyrie has had found different ways to effect the game outside of his scoring.

I feel like Kidd should get some of the credit for how connected Kyrie is playing. Kyrie himself deserves the most credit of course, but Kidd was an idol to Kyrie growing up in New Jersey, and I feel like Kidd has gotten the whole team to buy in whole-heartedly on both ends of the court and play at a higher level than would've been expected from this roster. I also feel like Kidd has fostered an environment where both Kyrie and Luka have clearly taken on leadership roles.

This is the best co-star for Luka. Kyrie plays so unselfishly and also has the ability to take over if it is needed. That’s why stats is so misleading. Kyrie could easily drop 40 points if he wants to or needs to. Dude plays the right way and spends his energy on defense and facilitate. If you think Kyrie is just a 17 ppg player, you are completely wrong and clueless. This guy is a walking bucket and has been helping the team and Luka so much that now they are a legit contender.

That clip at the end where Kyrie gives his shoe to a little girl in the stand is so emblematic of what kind of a person he is. He is loved by his peers, not just his teammates, but around the league. The respect he shows to his elders (shaking Hubie's hand before the match) and the poise he has in his interviews, being the first to point out how well his teammates performed. I'm so glad he came to Dallas, where at least he gets the respect he deserves, he seems very much at home here.

Killa is playing off what the defense is doin or try to do to him in turn he's being a play maker in that first series in the Minnesota series he can be the scorer more but the wolves are also collapsing in the paint for Kyrie to kick it out
