i've watched event of 115th kt from different vantage point, but still can't stop but appreciate them and be wowed by them everytime. 115th KT is one of my favorite KT class and im glad to see some of them continuing to do this via O-Vils together with some of KT alumnis. Gotta love KT, truly world class and nothing compares.

WOW.... Well I guess Tachibana is a secret no more. From the Rose Parade in January and everything they have done since has taken this talented group of musicians... to the rest of the world. Once you see and listen to them, you're hooked. The amazing part is that these are just "kids"...15, 16, and 17, perhaps 18 at the end of their very short three year high school term. Once they enter your lives or your home.... you never forget how special they are, and how they break down so many barriers. Music is the Universal language we all speak, but a thank you to Yusuke Tanaka for your translations, it does help. Thank you I.L.B. for another quality video. Thank you Tachibana for touching our hearts. Arigatou Orange Devils.

Paul Miller, I noticed that too. Even though Tachibana was in the Rose Parade in 2012 not many people know them. But after the Rose Parade in January of 2018 they just exploded and the world just falls in love with them. Can you imagine if Tachibana was market like rock and pop acts (as far as I know they don’t even have a KZread channel or Facebook page) or if they played at the Rose Bowl halftime show or at one of those talent show such as “Britain or America’s Got Talent” where they get big time exposure?

I personally think they (and the school) are perfectly happy with the exposure they've had in the past, and what the future holds. It is after all, just a school club, and while "western thinking" is... " get all you can get, and get it now", that's not what this is all about. They might have social media sites, but if they do it's all in Japanese. Four or five years ago they were on a t.v. talent show in Japan, and they beat everyone that they competed against, but back then, it never made it out of Japan, except for one video that's on KZread. They never would or could play the Rose Bowl, as that is a college football game between two schools that have their own bands. This is where the two different cultures come into play, we just have to learn, understand and honor their way of being Tachibana. Thanks for your comment....it's appreciated.
I really do not think they have any idea how big their international following is becoming. New and bigger opportunities have to be coming for what can only be called one of the most talented and dedicated high school bands I have every hear. Their sound is huge and each performance crisp and refreshing, but always with the feeling they are truly enjoying themselves. The hours that this group puts in to achieve this level is mind boggling. I found them by accident and I am now fully HOOKED!. Every performance can be watched more than once, because you are bound to see or hear something new. Keep it up ladies!! Hope to see you live if can figure out how!! Best wishes from Canada

I LOVE BRASS様 無事帰京され、いつもながらの美しい動画アップしていただきありがとうございます。 「京都橘高校吹奏楽部」東京での“debut”おめでとうこざいます。 周知が無くても京都橘高校マーチングバンドには集客力があるのではないでしょうか。 東京の方にも一度は実際に見ていただきたいものです。ここまま橘高校が進化を続けて 欲しいと思います。
Tachibana's performances are like a well-orchestrated Ballet while providing their own music! Although the acoustics are not that good in this open space, if you listen carefully, you can hear every instrument playing their individual parts. True music lovers can enjoy that as it demonstrates the expertise of these student musicians. There are no slackers who don't blow their horns very loud for fear of making a mistake! By the way, those French Horns, trumpets, saxophones, and Sousaphones, are Outstanding!!!! This is not to slight the other musicians, because they are all Outstanding Musicians!! Put them ALL Together and WOW! Yes, there are other very good musicians in High School Bands in Japan and elsewhere, but few if any, can play and Dance at the same time in a difficult choreographed way that they do.

unlike European Brass Bands it is a Full Orchestra ( excluding Strings ) as it has Flutes and Clarinets not seen in UK brass Bands
I wish I lived in Kyoto, Japan. I would be in the front row for every one of their performances yelling - 'Tachibana Fever - Hai, Hai, Hai, Hai, Haaaiii !!!!!' .... while waving my Tachibana Flag furiously. It's very appropriate that they perform at a Musical Instruments Fair. What better representatives of Musicians, Musical Instruments and how to play them at their finest level and extracting every best note out of that instrument. Want to show the World the BEST? Don't turn on the TV, phone or computer to watch Sports or News or Politics. Logon to KZread and 'WATCH KYOTO TACHIBANA'. This is where it's at! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Thanks for the video!!

Me Too!!!!!!! Watching TV is mostly like watching what is going on that is bad or sad in the world. If I want to be happy and enjoy watching TV, I just go to KZread and watch Tachibana. They make me feel good and I love listening to their music and watching them dance. They make my day / night brighter and happier.

Hello Mr. K You are quite addicted to Tachibana, too. As you said, looking at the information on the mass media such as TV and newspaper, there are not many good things. It may be better to know the movement of the world to a certain extent, but I think that there is no need to touch something that makes your life more unpleasant than that. And there are lots of things that seems to be wonderful if you change your gaze. One of them is meeting with the「Tachibana marching band」 They will provide such a happy time to the same world. If you spend the same life time, I think that it is more valuable to spend time with people from the world who provide such a happy time. From fans living in Tokyo in Japan

Well said. I could not agree with you more. You are lucky living in Tokyo. I think at least you could plan to see them perform live and in-person if you want but for those of us living in other countries, we must rely on KZread to watch Kyoto Tachibana so KZread is our lifeline to happiness- so to speak. Choreography great , music great, always look as though its great fun even after knowing the hard work and dedication they put in. Sometimes when watching its hard to believe these are in high school and not professional. Lastly the precision and teamwork is outstanding.

This would be the third time I've seen this performance and it's one of the best and one of my favorites. That building doesn't look like it would have good acoustics, but these video sure do sound good. The band just did " Zippity Do Dah " and I saw it when it first aired on television. P.S. Were I to have been attending and in the audience.I would be sitting next to the gentleman in the front row and clapping along with the Band too. By the way after " Soul Finger " is performed. 115期の最大、最強のPerformance ！楽器フェアは音良し、DANCE良し、笑顔や可愛さ良しと、否の打ちどころのない、まさに、完璧な演奏、演技だと思います。私がこの場所にいたら、ブラボーおじさんなんぞ、ぶっ飛ぶくらいの声援と拍手をしていた事でしょうし、観た人たちは、多分、時間がめちゃくちゃ短く感じられたんじゃないですかね。それくらい曲の構成から、演奏、演技はズバ抜けていると思いますよ。マジに観たかったですね。実際に観た観客の方たちは幸せですよね。素晴らしいドリルでした！

在youtube上追京都橘高校吹奏樂部很多年了，今年終於在台灣台北看到京都橘的表演，這是台灣重要的節日也是第一次邀請外國團體來表演，台、日友情50週年邀請京都橘來台灣是正確的。

遠征お疲れさまでした、橘動画四天王の動画はやっぱり安心して視聴できますね。
生徒さんが考えられたのか、明らかにいつも以上にたくさんの楽器にスポットを当てた構成と選曲に成ってますよね。楽器フェアの主催者の方もこの気遣いに感心された事でしょう。（多分ｗ）

アッと言う間の怒涛のマーチングパホーマンス。 撮影者さん達がポジショニングのため空いた良席｛左前にはＤＭさん 右後ろにはマークさん（ローズパレード遠征記念にと5.5mile否Kgも体重 を増やされたそうですね？）｝から観させて頂きました、会場全体 に溢れているこの幸福感こそが橘の魅力なのだと確信しました。 整理券配布待ちで関西撮影者さん達に「いつもブレの無い動画をありがとうございます」 と言ったら「いえブレてますよ」とのお答えでしたが、私は「皆さんのブレが無い橘愛に 溢れた動画をありがとぅ」と伝えたかったのです、言葉足りずにすいませんでした。 PS パレードも素晴らしかった、 ハイタッチしちゃいました、そしたら額に汗をかいた笑顔に 「私、上手に出来たでしょ」と書いてありました、 どれだけ練習しているのこの子達は、 やっぱり、 ORANGE DEVILs

綺麗な画像ありがとうございます。私もこの場で、初めて見ました！生橘！エンタティーナは生に触れなくては良さがわかりませんね、彼らは高校生なんだ、実際に見ていると しっかり伝わってきます。この感じはジワっと涙腺を刺激します。以前から、橘高校吹奏楽部には色々な書き込みや意見が有りましたが橘スタイルが確立していると実感しました。感動を与える力素晴らしいと思いました。あっという間の時間が過ぎた後、満たされた心で帰路につきました。ありがとう橘😊

トランペット隊の粒の揃った音色が素晴らしいですね！Fireballのイントロは“ヘヴィ”とすら感じます。ドラムメジャーの女の子は本当にアスリートみたいな体つきですねえ！
橘の部員さんの笑顔は何故こんなにピュアなんでしょうか。 笑顔を見るだけで感動と笑顔の渦に引き込まれます(⌒▽⌒)
橘さんお疲れ様でした。最高のパフォーマンスです。音もいいしダンスもぴったり合ってるし。とにかく素晴らしいの一言です。東京の人に関西にこんな素晴らしい吹奏楽部がある事を知ってもらえてみんな驚いてると思います。

日本もローズパレードみたいな大規模パレードが年に一度ぐらいあってもいいのになぁといつも思ってしまう・・ I LOVE BRASS さんの動画はいつも綺麗に撮れていてわかりやすく雰囲気がよく伝わります

大阪では、１９８３年から２００７年まで２４年間にわたり、大阪中心部にある御堂筋という大通りを使って「御堂筋パレード」というイベントがあり、この橘マーチングバンドも常連で参加していたようです。 １万人規模の参加者と、沿道には、１２0万人の観客が集まったそうで相当大規模なパレードだったみたいです。 ローズパレードよりも数倍の観客数みたいです。財政難で中止となってしまったそうですが、残念なことですね。 東京では、過去にこのような規模のパレードは、見当たりませんが、太っ腹な企画マンがいて実現すれば、橘のようなマーチングバンドも演奏のやりがいがあるのではないかと思います。商店街だけでは、勿体ないほど存在がおおきくなっていますので。 また、ローズパレードのように外国人観光客誘致も兼ねたもので考えれば、国内のみならず外貨獲得の経済的実利もあるのではないかと考えます。その為には、運営組織が盤石で継続性のあるものでなければなりません。こういう乗りも日本には必要かもしれません。
距離が短いとはいえパレードとステージ両方の演奏が見れるなんて、ファンにはたまりませんね。 そして悪魔ちゃん達が楽しんでるのが見てとれて、こちらまで嬉しくなっちゃいます。 ところで、橘ザウルスが一匹増えてますね😃 首がすわってないのが子供かな？🤣
左側面から観てました。最近橘で動画を上げられる方が増えましたが、安定の高画質とカメラワーク、感謝です！ お陰で自分は顔強ばらせてヘタクソなビデオ撮影せず、手拍子と声援に専念できるというもの(笑) 橘の公演、また東京で観たいものです！

全く同感です。
今期のDMさんが大好きです。ソロも担当できる演奏スキル、目を見張るほどのド派手なステップ、そしてなによりいつも笑顔。橘のロールモデル的な存在だと思います。で、ようやく１１４期ロスから立ち直ったかと思いきや、あと３か月もすれば今度は１１５期ロスか…。でもこの繰り返しが橘中毒患者の宿命みたいなものですから、甘んじて受け入れるしかないですね。

小柄ですが立ち姿が一番美しいですね マーチングでのステップも正確で綺麗で あたかもゼンマイ仕掛けで動くおもちゃの兵隊さんのようでした

返信ありがとうございます。現地に赴かれたんですね、羨ましい。自分も一度はリアル京都橘を体験したいと思っておりますが、如何せん遠方住まいです。ですが数年後の定年退職を待って、必ずオレンジの悪魔にお目にかかりたいと画策しております。

返信ありがとうございます。個人的には１１４期の義足の子が今もって忘れられません。歴代DMさんも仰っていますが彼女は「諦める」ということを知らない子で、そのことを身を持って体験している１１５期です。その闘争心は確実に受け継がれていることでしょう。そんなエピソードのひとつひとつが京都橘のパフォーマンスをより高みに導く原動力になっているのだと思います。次回のローズパレードで皆が笑顔で行進しているのを夢見ながら応援しています。
ギョギョギョ！のあと、観客から謎の拍手が(笑) でも何気にお客さんがリアクションしてくれるのは嬉しいですね。東京のイベントでも大勢ファンが来てくれて温かく迎えてもらえて良かったです♪ それとこの角度から観る橘も本当にカッコイイ！！
ありがとうござます。 今年は、楽器フェアー行けなかったので、とても嬉しいです。 と同時に、やっぱり、無理してでも行けばよかったと思う事、半端ないです。
Tachibana's performances are like a well-orchestrated Ballet while providing their own music! Although the acoustics are not that good in this open space, if you listen carefully, you can hear every instrument playing their individual parts. True music lovers can enjoy that as it demonstrates the expertise of these student musicians. There are no slackers who don't blow their horns very loud for fear of making a mistake! By the way, those French Horns, trumpets, saxophones, and Sousaphones, are Outstanding!!!! This is not to slight the other musicians, because they are all Outstanding Musicians!! Put them ALL Together and WOW! Yes, there are other very good musicians in High School Bands in Japan and elsewhere, but few if any, can play and Dance at the same time in a difficult choreographed way that they do.

unlike European Brass Bands it is a Full Orchestra ( excluding Strings ) as it has Flutes and Clarinets not seen in UK brass Bands
2017 年度の豪華絢爛なディズニーメドレーで橘の虜になって今でも大好きですが、2018並びに2019年度のディズニーメドレーは更にコミカルと可愛らしさが融合していいですね😍 もちろん2016年度以前も大好きです😍
I love the energy this band injects into their playing. Superb.

橘を表現すると躍動感、健気に、ひたむきに、かな？初めて生の橘に会えて自分が緊張してしまい舞い上がって、何か初恋の相手に告白する直前みたいな心境でした。
I wish I lived in Kyoto, Japan. I would be in the front row for every one of their performances yelling - 'Tachibana Fever - Hai, Hai, Hai, Hai, Haaaiii !!!!!' .... while waving my Tachibana Flag furiously. It's very appropriate that they perform at a Musical Instruments Fair. What better representatives of Musicians, Musical Instruments and how to play them at their finest level and extracting every best note out of that instrument. Want to show the World the BEST? Don't turn on the TV, phone or computer to watch Sports or News or Politics. Logon to KZread and 'WATCH KYOTO TACHIBANA'. This is where it's at! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Thanks for the video!!

Me Too!!!!!!! Watching TV is mostly like watching what is going on that is bad or sad in the world. If I want to be happy and enjoy watching TV, I just go to KZread and watch Tachibana. They make me feel good and I love listening to their music and watching them dance. They make my day / night brighter and happier.

Hello Mr. K You are quite addicted to Tachibana, too. As you said, looking at the information on the mass media such as TV and newspaper, there are not many good things. It may be better to know the movement of the world to a certain extent, but I think that there is no need to touch something that makes your life more unpleasant than that. And there are lots of things that seems to be wonderful if you change your gaze. One of them is meeting with the「Tachibana marching band」 They will provide such a happy time to the same world. If you spend the same life time, I think that it is more valuable to spend time with people from the world who provide such a happy time. From fans living in Tokyo in Japan

Well said. I could not agree with you more. You are lucky living in Tokyo. I think at least you could plan to see them perform live and in-person if you want but for those of us living in other countries, we must rely on KZread to watch Kyoto Tachibana so KZread is our lifeline to happiness- so to speak. We very much appreciate the videographers that provide us these very nice videos of them. From Fan living in Washington State, U.S.A. Have a great day in Tokyo!

Choreography great , music great, always look as though its great fun even after knowing the hard work and dedication they put in. Sometimes when watching its hard to believe these are in high school and not professional. Lastly the precision and teamwork is outstanding.

Welcome from France I love. Truly, they gradually get better. It really became a "star" of the world. And "sing sing sing" has become a representative music for them. I wish for happiness in an original marching band born in Kyoto. From Tokyo Japan
This would be the third time I've seen this performance and it's one of the best and one of my favorites. That building doesn't look like it would have good acoustics, but these video sure do sound good. The band just did " Zippity Do Dah " and I saw it when it first aired on television. P.S. Were I to have been attending and in the audience.I would be sitting next to the gentleman in the front row and clapping along with the Band too. By the way after " Soul Finger " is performed. Would anyone know the name of the next piece of music? I have never heard it before, and I'm really liking it.
