They sign up to go to this school just for that very reason.Most high schools have bands but KT is miles above anyone else
Literally the only marching band I have spent a lot of fun listening and watching on youtube 👏👍

You know when you have " Tachibana Syndrome " when you hear " Sing Sing Sing, Down by the riverside, Super Mario and FIREBALL" ringing in your head all day long..But man I think " Gangnam Style is super on point. I don't think they performed that at the Rose Parade?.. I think that would have been a riot with the crowd. Thanks for the upload!!

🦂 La sosta iniziale è stata un po' troppo lunga, però ci ha permesso, anche per le belle immagini dell'operatore, di vedere da vicino quanto brave siano queste ragazze, quanto siano sinceri i loro sorrisi. Il 2018 è stato uno dei migliori anni di KTB che, anche per merito del Prof. Tanaka è migliorata tantissimo diventando la più gradita e seguita in tutto il mondo. Grande professionalità e bravissime interpreti di una ottima music. KTB, grazie di esistere.♥♥♥

i'm always fascinated by the amount of precision displayed by Kyoto Tachibana High School musical and dance work! They ARE the very best and thanks for the great video work. I love their enthusiasm, skill and musical ability! Bravo.... from USA. the average person would have NO idea how much work and practice it requires to perform as the do..... countless hours and it shows. No slackers in this band.... NONE

These young adults are the absolute best. I'm awed by their performances, skill and talent. Hats off to all of them, including the instructors. Talented, hard working band. If you've ever marched before, you will recognize all the work that goes into their music and dancing!

The Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band is the most famous H.S. Band in the world, mainly because they have participated in the ROSE PARADE in CALIFORNIA more than one time, therefore they were seen on TV, world wide, This great Band is a Band well disciplined. The Japanese people are very proud of this Band, when the Band Parades down the street there's always a Hugh crowd too see them on both sides of the street, often there are many American among the spectators ~USA

After this parade the seniors are almost going to stop 20 months performing in the band and transferred to the sophomores marvelous and excellent percussionists colleges are waiting for you all of you have got feed back from your sweat tear hard work best memory period deep rooted in your heart.

You know if I were born in Japan and joined KT in the future I would be in the 122th class. You do the maths. KT was 115 years old (115th class) in 2018, so they were founded in around 1903.

Where were all the normal number of TK Support Crew running security? The rear guard got overrun and the lady in the blue overcoat resorted to aggressively shoulder-checking people to get them out of the way. I think she would have received a lot more cooperation if she had been wearing a black "Supporter" jacket and arm band. There may come a time when the band's popularity reaches a point when the school might have to hire professional security instead of enlisting volunteers.
I'm a big fan! There's so much talented and amazing young musicians and performers in Kyoto tachibana! We love you KT the best in the world!!!!

There are so many cute girls here. How can anyone have a favorite? I do. She is playing cymbals in this parade. I think her nick name is Penquin. I believe she has graduated now (2020) is off in university. Good luck to the cutest percussionist in the world.

@@Eli-eg5zj They are all very good. But then they have to be to be part of KT band. Your favorite is called the Drum Major. Did you know they are elected to that position by the other band members. That is different than here in the U.S. where they are chosen by the Band Director.

シンバルの紐が抜けちゃった子、パレード終了直後に一瞬涙拭っているんだな… パレード中は笑顔で気丈に振舞ってたけど。 こういう所が本当、偉いよなぁ。お金もらってやってる訳じゃないってのに。 プロの態度だよこれ。

まあ、どんな事にもふそくの事態ってのは、付き物ですから仕方ないですわ。 やれる事を精一杯やってる姿だけでも人は感動します。
114 、115期は特にすごいよね。 115期が3年のこの2018年10月はホントにうまい。 全く音がぶれてない、ピッチが正確、全員が上手い。 ダンスのキレもすさまじい。 見事と言わざる得ない。 ローズに参加した2.3年生のモチベーションも高かったのかなー。
マルチタムさんの、縦横無尽に叩く手元が間近で見れる貴重な映像。しかし、みんなあんなに顔真っ赤にしながら演奏しているのに、笑顔を絶やさない。素晴らしいね。

このシンバルの紐が切れる不測の事態の中でも笑顔でいる姿に感動です！ ホントに素敵な笑顔です。 この方(当時は1年生)は後に117期の部長さんですね。

UPありがとうございます！ スネア3年、1年生コンビは相変わらずの息ぴったり、その他のパーカス隊も笑顔たっぷり、ノリノリ ほんと見てるだけで幸せです 笑 でもこの季節になると3年生の115期も本番が見れるのがあと数回なんだなぁと思うと・・・ 毎年恒例の寂しさがきますね・・・ ガラシャ祭と定期演奏会は絶対見に行くぞ！！！
トリステーザはこの年でしか見られないんですよね とても好きな曲なのでほかの代でも演奏してほしい❗️個人的な好みでスミマセン😅 ベイブリーズも橘のマーチングにはピッタリ🎶聴きたいな～ 2012年のローズパレードで演奏していましたね
ご本人たちは渋滞して大変だけど、CG三人娘、115期CGオセロ(白黒)コンビの通称小麦さん(黒)と通称はんなり京美人のちろっこさん(白)、116期CGの通称インド姫さんのキレのあるパフォーマンスがじっくり見れる、素晴らしい映像をありがとうございます❗

7:56 これだけ激しく飛び上がっても音が全くブレないって・・・凄すぎて言葉が見当たりません。 Yコーチ 『空中で吹いている音がある。それでもピッチを合わせてくる』 『来年くらい羽が生えて空を飛ぶんとちゃいますか』 この子達なら本当に空を飛ぶような気がしてなりません。

16:20頃からの沿道の陽気なおじ様🙌、なんだか清原が釣竿を持って一緒にダンスしてるような(笑) 部員さんたちもこのひょうきんなおじ様に笑いが出てる。😂ローズパレードにはたくさん見かけたが、日本では珍しいなぁ！☺😊

3：30あたりから画面向こう側に見える笑顔の優しい若い男性。 オレンジの悪魔のパフォーマンスを見るオーディエンスも笑顔でいるとこちらまで更に笑顔になります。
コメント失礼致します。 パレード終了後にシンバルの紐？を大事に手に握りしめて、後ろのバスドラムの先輩の子に優しく声を掛けられ涙ぐんでいるところが印象的でした。最後まで演奏出来なかったから涙しちゃったのかな？でも素敵なパレードでしたよ。

There are so many cute girls here. How can anyone have a favorite? I do. She is playing cymbals in this parade. I think her nick name is Penquin. I believe she has graduated now (2020) is off in university. Good luck to the cutest percussionist in the world.

@@Eli-eg5zj They are all very good. But then they have to be to be part of KT band. Your favorite is called the Drum Major. Did you know they are elected to that position by the other band members. That is different than here in the U.S. where they are chosen by the Band Director.

Penguin is really cute and talented. It seems that most of the percussionists are cross-trained with all of the instruments.
