この動画を見ると体格の小さい子が頑張っている姿にいつも泣かされます。 楽器はご存知のように種類と音程で大きさや重さが決まります、体格の差はそのまま同じ動作をするときはハンデに成ります。また、パレードの速度も同じ速度を維持するには歩幅を維持するのに余分なエネルギーを使うでしょう。 軍隊や共産圏と違い自由なクラブ活動だからこそいろんな子が参加出来るのですが、敢えてそこに飛び込んでこれほどの演奏演技が出来るまで自らを鍛え、かつ一体として行進できるのは驚異的です。 ローズで話題になったフルートの子もそうですがハンデがあっても引きつけ、育て上げる、悪魔の秘密は何でしょう。

いつも思うのだけれど、スーザの人ただかついで立奏してるだけでも肩が本当に痛くて辛いのに、橘はジャンプしたり振り付けあったり、それもこんな長時間、ほんとすごいと思います。ほんとに、ほんとにすごい。

凄すぎて・・ 高校時代部活をした者なら彼女・彼らが練習で想像を絶する汗と涙を流したかは解る・・ しかし本番でそれらをミジンも感じさせない笑顔・・頭が下がる思いです・・

ドラメさんがトロンボーンの子のために水分貰ってきてるのに感動😭 まぁ、こんなに激しく踊って吹いても動きが揃っているのでこのくらいの連携は当たり前なんですよね

自分もトロンボーン吹いてたからわかるのですが、歩きながら吹くだけでも大変なのに踊って飛び跳ねながら演奏できるなんて名人芸の域ですよ。 しかも音ミスも殆んどなく、スタミナも口の耐久力も凄いですね。 素晴らしい！ 普段からの努力の賜物です。 日本の女子は凄いなと改めて感じさせられました。 マーチングに新しい風を吹き込んで、最初は評価されなくても自分達の貫き通してきた姿勢にも敬意を感じます。 可愛い女子（男子部員も素晴らしい）が凄いことをやってのけるバンドというイメージがあります。 スゴくてカワイイ唯一無二のバンドとして後輩たちに繋いで行って欲しいです。

Rose Paradeではスネアが大勢いて気付かなかったけど、このスネアのコが凄すぎる。しかもずっと笑っているし･･･

きれいな町並みだなと思った。ローズパレードの動画の感覚。高い建物がそんなに無くて、青空がいっぱいに広がった中で演奏する。歓声は少ないけれど、それはお国柄なんですかね分かんない。でも年輩の人が多分、孫を見てるように拍手を送っているし追っかけてるもいる。天気もいいし見てて清々しい。そうそう、当たり前では無いと思います。

I love how much the drum major cares for her players. At about 33 minutes into the video one of the trombonist was in need of water. She went out of the way to get her water and also stoped her playing for her to get a drink of water. Kind things like that does make me happy! :)

This is also the job of the "supporters" The important thing is to still do the marching steps as you drink. While they train many use a kind of cold bandage on the forehead. They also train on a sand surface, which can be a bit slidey at time. Might sound cruel but if they don't fall on the sand, chances are they won't fall on cement or concrete floor and harm themselves and yes that Drum major they had then and the one they have now are the best they think of group first and personnal gain second

I have played in a marching band. This is insanely hard. Especially for the flute player in the before last row. She has only one leg!

34:40 how does one even bounce and play huge xylophone then still looking so happy at the same time! It looked so heavy to me! Still one of the best tachibana march ;) 2016 had my favorite set of songs, favorite classes of 113 & 114 & 115, favorite Tippi and wonderful color guards. Still abusing the replay button in 2018 ;)

She's most excellent. The youngsters might describe as having a " Beast " of a skill set. Her previous year when K. T. had two snare drummers, the current Snare Drummer played the Bass Drum. I have much respect for the young Lady. She played her instrument for this entire March.

Wow. KT are always tweaking their street routine with new songs and choreography so that it never gets old! Some differences, but always with the same pure joy and enthusiasm! There are only a small handful of boys in the band and if they get bullied by the jocks in their school, it's out of obvious jealousy!!

Excellent sound quality considering all of their dancing.

makes me happy when I watch this great school band, they are the best I have ever seen, I watched many many of there vids on youtube

There was one video in which one of the flag carriers dropped her flag and had to pick it up. Considering the number of hours of video of them, I would say that they are about as close to perfection as any group could possibly get.

橘さんのサウンドは元気でエネルギーを感じられる、サウンドだけ聴き続けても飽きがこない。 それにしても、なんで飛び跳ねてるのにピッチがまっったくずれないのが不思議でならない。隊列が長いんだから前と後ろでズレて当然と思うし。でも一度もズレを感じたことがない…あんなにあんなに飛び跳ね続けてるのに！！！1年生も混じってるはずなのに！！！信じられない。皆が虜になるわけだ。

いつも拝見するたび、撮影に愛情がこもっているのも相まって、 胸が熱くなります。撮影、編集、upご苦労様です。

改めて日本では最長パレードの映像を拝見させていただきました。やはりローズパレードとは進行速度が違いすぎます。京都橘高校吹奏楽部のかわいくてかっこいい演奏演技は、このスピードが一番ですね。ぜひ生で見てみたい。そして海外の人にも・・・。

If I recall correctly the Band Members to attend the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California each had to accumulate either $ 4000.00 or $ 3000.00 I don't recall for certain. So, travel to New York City, New York would be even more expensive to the Band Members. These are Senior High School children and that's a pretty expensive ask.

地元の神輿のお祭りより断然、京都橘高校のマーチングバンドの演奏の方がずば抜けている高校生とはとても思えない 演奏とパホーマンスは高校生を超えている素晴らしい日本の誇り。

いよいよ2年ぶりのガラシャが間近に迫ってきました。とっくに大人の私達からすれば2年前なんて「つい先日」程度の間隔ですが、改めてこの動画を見ると現在も在籍しているのは115期だけなんですよね…生徒の入れ替わり早すぎて怖い…汗 116期はローズを経験しているので安心できますが117期のみなさんが初めて体験する長距離長時間のパレードではないでしょうか。水分補給をしっかりしながら全員無事に完走できることを祈っています！がんばれー！！

This kind of INTEREST, DEDICATION, HARD WORK, COMMITMENT... all are the qualifications of students performance... Behind this performance the teachers, parents & Children dedication is witnessed... And they are setting an example to the world... This is the reason WHY JAPAN AGAIN CAME BACK TO THE COMPARABLE WORLD COUNTRIES... The little cute angels performance lure entire world... As a teacher I have no words to praise dedicated work of various behind curtain... There are so many schools and institutions in the world perform like this... BUT THIS IS UNIQUE... The stamina of these girls are remarkable. I really love the flute player at the end of the column at the right column with the short hair. Imagine how to remain graceful after miles of dancing. And she is a beauty. And those two girls in the xylophones, they are so charming, they are terrific and their team of percussionists are so admirable. I wonder if they are able to read the comments posted by fans so they will know how much we appreciate them.

動画が多いのでずーとみてるけど飽きない、素晴らしい、飛びはねるようなステップ、このステップは生徒が考えるらしいけど、なるほどな・・と思う、大人じゃ無理な動きだもんな・・若さだけではできない。楽器ステップ首の動き、世界でも例がないんじゃないかな？

先輩方も長時間の演奏で疲れていると思うのですが 先輩方が後輩のこともしっかり見てあげていて 感動しました。 本当に素晴らしい！！

慶次郎前田様、いつもＵＰされるのを楽しみにしています。広角気味のフレーミングで聴衆の動きも観れて、周りの雰囲気がよく伝わってきますね。ほかの人のＵＰ動画も観ましたが、踏切あり、狭い路地ありで、ガラシャ祭りは観る人も演技する生徒さんも大変ですね。ドキドキ、ハラハラもしましたが、やはり最後は感動の一言です。生徒さんの頑張りと最高の演技、さすが京都橘です。

not only Marching, playing instruments, dancing while playing, did anyone notice one of the flute players had a prosthetic leg ? I saw another video of them in the USA, and the speaker called her out as an example of what people with disabilities can achieve.

I think there will be other good High School Bands in Japan , but I don't think any combine this excellent Music with the fantastic Choreography as these students do

I smile, bigger, when I see the tiny gurls in this video with one playing a trombone as big as she is, and not far behind her. another tiny gurl carrying some big horn that I measured--eyeball-- to be 60% of her height---these Orange Peeps never stop amazing:))

Even though I never did marching band when I was still in school, I've always had a love for music. And with having been in Japan with the US Navy, I've gained an appreciation for the Japanese culture. And with this band, all of the girls are definitely hitting my weakness: "Japanese cuteness/cute Japanese girls"
