Cheers for the tips, mate! I'm going to throw in the longer cap screws for the upper links like you suggested. I thought it was odd that they didn't go all the way through the ballstud at least. Definitely a great idea to lock it off with a flanged nut. I'll be doing your 3mm grub screw trick on the alloy hubs as well.
