Yuki Yoza won the Kyokoshin worlds aged 19. An extract taken from Beyond Kickboxing reads: “Around the time of Junior High School, Yoza would begin to watch kickboxing on TV and would eventually fall in love with the sport. It was during this time that Yoza realized he wanted to become a professional fighter. Despite his eagerness to become a professional right away, he was advised that it would be wise for him to become a world champion in Karate first, as this would aid him in his transition to professional kickboxing. This motivated Yoza to continue competing in Karate all the way through university, where he eventually became the youngest Karate world champion in history at 19 years old.”
Yoza has an incredible kicking game and is a fighter well worth watching!

perfect! as a slacky I've been hungry for more yoza content and this was so well executed. love that last kick to the liver at the end, so precise and brutal

1.10 what is that? I've never seen a right kick into left punch knockout before the guy lands his foot after the kick.... Wonder if he trains that or what

Its kyokushin combo style
Hmm, so this doesnt scale as well to mma, but the kicks are so so clean.

I think at the elite level he'd struggle as the way Yoza crowds the space he'd either get taken down or eat too many punches as he relies a lot on the high guard. I'm sure there are plenty of guys he'd kick to pieces on the way up though! Thanks for commenting!
Should do a proper masato video next

Rico who?
The inside rear low feels very much like Rico Verhoeven's
Rico Verhoeven has been doing that inside rear leg kick for many years, it's nothing new.
Do a video of flexibility for kicking. I’ve been trying to improve my flexibility for ages but make no progress

Look up how to do a split and just do it everyday, I’ve been at it for 3 months and can almost do a full split
