@@mnemonix1315I wouldn’t say so. Remember that the ref is built like an average person and he was bigger than them. It is because the ring has good lighting, they are both very lean and have no shirt on, and there were almost no other people to compare them to. They would probably look like average fit dudes in shirts.

What are you saying? Have you ever seen/trained any martial arts even remotely similar to kickboxing? There were absolutely feints, just not any over exaggerated ones used in amateur stuff, also it is harder to see from camera, as they feints are meant for the opponents and not the audience. Over exaggerating feints leaves you open for counters, works worse often when facing a high level opponent. You, no offense, obviously don’t know what you are talking about. For example 2:16 there were feints to set up the left knee, and immediately in the engagement after, akimoto feinted a cross, tough he got push kicked away after. Soon after that qiu feinted a teep before doing a punching combo.

The commentators are pro Akimoto amd surprisingly he won even though he got knocked off his feet a thousand times.😂 Bad and bias judgement

No in kickboxing falling doesn't mean anything at least If he fell out of powerful strike in the face we would have said yes !!! He is getting smashed but in this case the guy was just falling down cause he kept loosing balance. It was more of a balance thing

Sweeps don't score that much in kickboxing. Kicks that land on the leg and head score much more.

He was the more aggressive fighter. That's why he fell over most of the time not because he was hurt.

@@swanzylarbi6547 No. He fell to the ground by his opponent’s sweep kicks. He did not fall by loosing balance on his own. A boxer lost his balance and falls to the floor by a punch from his opponent would be a knock down.

Kickboxing rules are strange...that amount of sweeps and the amount of attacks coming from the red guy was kinda better.

sweeps are not high scoring hits in these fights, the fact that Qiu was using it so much was a waste of time, and shows he was ill prepared for the fight, but overall it was a good fight.

Qui is only effective in sweeping technique, making his opponent fall...but skimoto really makes the effective damage by his combination puches and kicks. while Qui makes the sweeping to make it seem he's knocking his opponent down 😅

Akimoto is very good ... but Qiu is just a little bit better. I love the way easily and repeatedly sweeps and drops Akimoto like a tiger swatting a ghazelle with it's paw, that's skill! Qiu is my winner.

Can’t believe that Akimoto was declared the winner. I counted 10 times that he was swept down the floor!😅
