Kool chit,, old guy here reminiscing about cruising @ 180 km/hr in 4th gear on my 1985 GPZ900R taking photos with one hand. Gonna have to get me one of these now as an amputee, left leg of all luck

Opting for a scooter isnt a bad idea but because of your leg this doesn't mean your restricted just to automatics I seen a guy a year back or just over on a semi auto bmw bike with a gear shifter on the left grip looked pretty unique

You have some seriously STRAIGHT long stretches of roads! Wow!

Ive watched several of your videos now ! All seem to have incredible control demonstrations. I believe this only happens if you have "road sense" the experience to judge situations. Can i ask if there are any pointers i could practice to reach your standard. Are you an instructor ? Keep uploading and ride safe.

Thank you for your comment. I guess it comes from experience with the years, the thing is that you have to be relaxed on all situations and don't panic and over react if something happens. You have to "feel" the traction of the tyre in your hands. Also the bike helps you with the inputs that it gives you,well build bikes corner easier but if you are skilled you can corner with anything. At kymco greece they were impressed on my leaning angles with AK.

Biketrips Thanks for info. I ve been riding 2 yrs and bought a 2003 60k tmax without any service history. I am servicing it back to full health and getting experience on it , here in Devon UK.

Nice! keep your bike safe with regular services,priority is always the tyres and brakes. Just did the 10k service and I am on a 300km trip at the moment.

@@johnoleary9317 I would love to know about servicing back to full health….there is a Kymco Xciting 400 near here for sale that is a 2014 with only 3000 miles for $4000 US dollars….and so, surely it has just been sitting it’s whole life….it looks brand new.

Πλάκα πλάκα όπως τα έχουν κάνει τα μεγάλα scooter πας πλέον παντού με αυτά και ξεκούραστα.Η ερώτηση μου ειναι γιατι ψάχνομε για αγορά 2020,TMAX 560 standard edition,BMW C650 Standard edition η KYMCO 550 που εχει καλύτερη τιμη σε σύγκριση με τα 2 προηγούμενα και πλησιάζει στα εξτρά τα άλλα δυο μοντέλα με τιμή μονο 9,5 χιλιάρικα αντι 14,5 που κανουν τα αλλα 2 full extra.

MPA won't the engine be a bit hot, using high octane fuel, my max is 98% of shell Formula.

Hi nice vid. Do you have a link to get the 100 octane fuel ? Is that a booster to add to the gasolina ? Do you have a link ? Thank. This scooter is a bit speeder than the Gilera 500 Nexus that I had couple years ago, top speed was around 174 kms/h I think, but from 0 to 120 it was so fast !

Thank you! It's the premium fuel here it's called 100 octane fuel, You buy from the gas station. Accelation matters more than top speed I think

Biketrips Oh ok, now I get it. In France, at gas stations, you cannot find above 98 octane fuel, so I guess I'll have to get an octane booster (usually for Racing use), I found some on the internet. Thank you anyway.

@@nicolash.9222 I don't think it's the octane value. They use the best additives for the more expensive fuel, but not all engines can take advantage of it.

I'm riding the Kymco downtown 350i and love it but the ak 550 will become my next scooter. :-D

Hooning it, them things gotta lot of shift on them only thing that puts me off is the instrument clusters flickering all over the place personally it would take my eyes off the road, I guess this is fuel injected what sort of mpg are you getting out of this thing?

The flickering is only because the camera see it like this. On your eyes are always on. It's the way LEDs work.

Its around 4.5 to 5 litters per 100km

όχι δεν έχει σημασία η χρονολογία, πχ το τμαξ 530 γράφει 180 παει με 168, αλλά το δικό σου είναι λίγο ποιο δυνατό

It is mean that the fuel we have to choose higher octane, is that what right （it wouldn't be able to damage engine ）

I'm not a fan of that dash, prefer the TMAX.

riders weight also play a factor aside from the kind of fuel you are using.

Η οθόνη στο κέντρο είναι και για gps για ρολόι ή για κοντέρ. Οπότε αναγκαστικά πρέπει να έχει και το κοντέρ στα δεξιά.

Το θέμα Kymco πριν 7-8 χρόνια μπορεί τους περισσότερους να τους ξενέρωνε. Πλέον όχι, είναι η Hyundai της μοτοκινησης. Αντέγραψε, έμαθε, έμαθε καλά μπορώ να πω, είναι ανταγωνιστική και όχι μόνο φτάνει τους αντιπάλους, τους προσπερνάει κιόλας.... Έχουν φίλοι μου Kymco, ένας Xciting 300 κι ο άλλος Downtown 350 και ειδικά με το τελευταίο, αν δεν είχα ήδη scooter , θα το αγόραζα με κλειστά μάτια, είναι φοβερό!!

Το πιο απλό Αλλά θέλει σωστά χέρια για να φτιαχτει είναι ο ιμάντας πίσω, μπορεί να μην είναι σωστά ρυθμισμένος.

@@Biketrips Α, γεια σου... Αυτή είναι πληροφορία! Ευχαριστώ. Υπάρχει στα Χανιά (30' δρόμος από Ρέθυμνο ) ένας καλός μηχανικός με εκπαίδευση στα ΑΚ. Στην πρώτη ευκαιρία θα τον επισκεφτώ. Όχι ότι τα 190 χλμ/ώρα είναι Ο σκοπός, αλλά, αν μπορεί να γίνει και, για τα λίγα μέρη που μπορείς να ανοίξεις το γκάζι με -σχετική- ασφάλεια, γιατί όχι; Έπειτα, η σωστή ρύθμιση τού ιμάντα μού φαίνεται έτσι κι αλλιώς σωστό και χρήσιμο πράγμα...

Γιωργος Αργυροπουλος Tmax 2018 starts from 11500€ sales are the answer witch one is better. We are talking about sport maxi scooters here. If you want to ride the best one in the world just buy Yamaha TMAX. Others only follow the standarts. The difference of the price between ak550 and Tmax 530 2018 will be bigger when you want to sell them in few years. Now 530 ironmax 2015 is about +8000euro. Cheers
