Blame on her manager for not wanting to promote her in the 90’s. Even after can’t get you out of my head was a hit in america, her manager didn’t want her to tour here till 2009

Really? I'm an American and know quite a few people who are fans. She's definitely not as widely beloved as someone like Madonna or Britney Spears, but she definitely has a following here. "Can't Get You Out of My Head" was a massive radio hit in the States.

Part of this though is she was dropped here in the States by Geffen after Enjoy Yourself, and didn't have an album out here until Fever, though not for lack of trying. She had signed to Imago here in the States in 1994, and had a top 40 dance club hit here with Confide In Me, then Imago went under so she lost her deal here. I kept up with her, and imported in Kylie's music and felt bittersweet when US radio rediscovered her with Can't Get You Out of My Head.

I am continuously impressed by her warmth and genuine level of connection to her fans.

Agree, she often seems polite but guarded in interviews with kinda generic or simple answers trying not to say too much. More chatty and comfortable here. Love it.

She's so lovely, so sweet, so beautiful and Golden it's an amazing album. You know, among all of the release that have been taking place lately in pop music, Golden sounds fresh because it's like a mix of two genres. There's really a song for everybody on the album. I hope her record label really helps to properly promote it in USA so more people can discover those pop gems!

Kylie yeah icon legend you name it shes it. But the reason why she is still here killing the game 30 years on is because she is humble, hard working and professional and she is an example of how to be and what to strive for

Great interview, Kevan. Loved that she was so impressed that you'd done your research. I didn't care for first single "Dancing", but the rest of GOLDEN is really great.

I honestly felt the same! As an Australian, you know all of her songs - but she's not really appreciated here as the pop megastar she is in UK/Europe. It's honestly just recently I recognised the scale of her enormous talent and success. Also, how much I love all the songs!

Biggest fan of both her and Tove! Both of them severely underrated!
