I always think this, because every self deprecating joke stems from somewhere, he should be very confident, his fans really love him and I think he’s one of the funniest people on the show since he joined

These "Kyle is a loser seeking validation" sketches always take me on a rollercoaster of emotions.

Honestly Michael plays minimal characters in skits. He was in a Family Feud skit as one of Steve Harvey's relatives. I guess they only use him on skits when Kenan and Chris already have roles. He was also in the Rap video with the entire cast as "Two Black Guys" with Colin

So, a sketch from 2019 called "New Cast Member" where Kyle plays a "new" cast member named Adam (that obviously looks like Kyle, but gets "Cut for Time" like him too) just showed up in my recommendations. He's even wearing the same jacket as he walks down the street to similarly soft music.

Funny enough, all of Kyle’s sketches that are cut for time are, as far as I’m concerned, genius works of art, and it’s the ones that actually air that can be more difficult. You can totally tell whether or not the material is written by him. I get that different people laugh at different things, but I genuinely feel bad for people who don’t find Kyle Mooney funny because they don’t realize what they’re missing out on lol
