@@VariteZ You have a slower acceleration and overall less power when you're in high gears on low speeds. When the engine is making a low-pitched sound then it has a lower rpm and therefore less power, but if it makes a high pitch sound (near the rev limiter) then you have high rpm's and you have a faster acceleration. As far as I know it doesn't do anything bad to the engine. If it were the other way around though (too low gear on high speeds) then your piston will give out a lot faster.

@@matu4278 Dude its a 4 stroke dirt bike with short gearing, there is no need to shift in high rpms, it's got plenty of torque in low rpms, besides they rev really fast so he would just bang the rev limiter

Your sprocket is to big maybe 3 theet less on the back one and that’s all it should go more fluid

As an owner of a kx250f. I can say that with stock gearing mine only goes like maybe 50mph. That doesn't bother me because I ride trails

Yea my 2017 kx250f tops out at around 55 although I’m not on the rev limiter I’m still shocked when I see people claiming to do 70 on a kx250f

Lucas Downer these guys think they’re doing more than 50-55. But in all seriousness, with stock gearing I doubt any of us will go more than 60.
