I noticed you allowed the tool to "hang" in the lock hands-free.

QD quick dry works great. removes EVERYTHING and leaves you with a clean dry lock ready to read or impression

@@AquaTech225 I seem to have omitted crc qd quick dry electronics cleaner, not regular contact cleaner, this stuff evaporates very fast with no residue, Inuse WD40 to flush out crap then flush with the qd and it dries in seconds leavong nice clean bright shiny brass/metal that you can easily say see the numbers stamped on old wafers inside old locks gm 6 cyt for example. Its pretty much the cleanest dryest you can get a lock without disassembling it

What exactly does the Wi-Fi function do? Must one have actual WiFi or just use cell service to use this tool? My distributor site mentions wifi enabled.

The decoder acts like a router, so your phone would connect to it the same way your phone would connect to a router.

The lishi is super easy and I just can't justify paying over $300 for something the lishi can do. This thing will only tell you what the cuts are when the lishi is a fraction of the cost and will actually open the lock for you.

This is great for locksmiths that can cut keys by numbers.. if your just unlocking and have no means to cut it won't be useful for you. Great looking tool.. I can't wait to have it in my little palms..

@@technosasquatchfilms with all due respect, only absolute pros can cut an accurate key with a file or a pair of calipers by eye. Something tells me I don’t feel like somebody who’s that skilled would need to be watching videos about this kwikset smartkey cut reader. Not that you asked, but personally, if the doors unlocked, I’ll just take the lock apart and use a kwikset smartkey reset cradle. If the doors locked and I can’t just get around it somehow, then I’ll drill the cylinder out and just plop a new cylinder in their and rekey it to whatever key they want.
