I have the savage gear MPP2 spinning rod 3 to 10 gram 6ft 6ins it's a beast of a rod mult-purpose predator rods from savage gear are absolutely awesome i have had pike to 18pound on this little pocket battleship, good review andrew,para

The Kuying Teton rods are superb I now have two, an SUL and a UL, however I cannot understand for the life of me Andrew why they do not include an integrated hook keeper on their rods?
Great video and very informative on the rod. Could you also advise on what net and handle you are using please?

The handle was Korum Snapper Kult one and net head was some very old match Map Pan with replaced deep net 👌

I've got one of the ultra light baitcaster versions and its good , if you look on perch jesus channel , he catches a jack pike on one no problem . These rods are superb if your water holds mainly small fish , but if a bigger one comes along - no problems - I caught a river jack pike on mine ,and a couple of chub around a pound and a half .

I paired mine up with Abu and Daiwa baitcasting reels as I wasn't confident about the Chinese U/L baitcaster reels , but having seen reviews , I wished I had tried them first .
