any negatives with the place? I’m booked in for April with my wife and 3 kids. I have seen some comments about the lighting of the room, noise and the inconvenience getting to the hotel on foot from the mains streets. In all it looks great value for money, just want to find out if there were/are any issues which you notice during your stays. Cheers

DazzaDoesBrewing no negatives from me, especially for the price. I have never found it noisy, it’s off the main streets. It’s in between poppies 1&2 so If you know your way around Kuta it’s easy to find. If you haven’t been there it is a bit of a maze but you will work it out.

It’s only about a 3-4 minute walk to the beach too. Some really good restaurants around there too. Apart from the black stump and the Brazilian Aussie bbq, there is a fantastic Greek restaurant called Souvlaki Wurung just dow the alley. Most expensive thing on the menu is $5.70 . There is a good Italian restaurant next to the Greek one and just off poppies 1 there is my favorite restaurant called UN’s, about 2 minutes walk from KTH

Hey Dazza ... Just a few quick things in case you get over there after covid. I've stayed at KTHA many times and my biggest issue was the almost useless wi-fi. I've stayed in all buildings and never had close to decent wi-fi. Last time i stayed which was May 2019, i had a silver ring stolen from my room which i shouldn't have left sitting in the open but i'd never had a problem with theft there before that trip. If something is stolen from your room and you're sure about it, tell the security guard at the front and he will sort it out for you because they document which staff clean which rooms. I would recommend getting a taxi there the first time you visit and then work out where you are later, i know Kuta well and it took me a little while to find the place the first time but once you get your bearings you'll appreciate how central it is for food, nightlife, legit massages, shopping and the beach.... it's all within a few minutes walk.
