Your walks in Bali are not boring for people who are missing the island. Like you say- it's almost like being there yourself. If people get bored, they can watch something else.

I’m the person who said visiting the Discovery Mall was boring…and it is BORING ! Who cares about the stores in this mall that are the same as in every mall ? For your information, I was married in Bali in the 1990’s and still married. I lived for several years in Bali which was an amazing experience. There are interesting topics and areas that could be explored… instead of the same old boring things !!

@@baliman555 Not too crazy about shopping malls either, but walking on the streets or along the beach are fine. And I love seeing traditional ceremonies and that time they went to visit Winny's family's piece of land with the waterfall.

The walk around videos are great for people (like my friend) who have injuries that are still healing or other mobility issues. They can’t get out and about in areas that can’t be accessed but cars and don’t want to get on a scooter. It helps expand their holiday.

Yeah, the parts where the music is blasting, I wouldn't enjoy those, the others are just okay, but not my fave place to be in Bali either. The weather indeed looks hot hehe

The promenade has definitely made a huge difference rather than ploughing through the hot sand.I hope it will withstand the occasional high tides. The music would be hard for me to take as I remember it as just the roar of the waves. Is the Oberi hotel and villas still there ? Now that was the place to be. Some of the best food I have ever experienced.

Hi Damian Thank you for your video of my favourite spot in all of Bali. At the 2 min mark you past a beautiful lady in her blue shirt Lucy who has been sitting infront of Gado Gado for over 30 year. I stay at the Puri Saron and from this area you can walk to anywhere. It is people like Lucy and her mother who make this area the best place in Bali for me.

I’m quite sure that I’m not the only on following several channels, for me it started as for you with the pandemic, I started follow Wazza who tragically died from his cancer, got to se his funeral and ash spreading. About the same time I found you, can’t exactly remember when but you were well below vlog 50. I also followed a Bil eve who gave up before reaching 1000 subscribers. so now I follow you, Unclechan and Krishna. Met Uncle C yesterday at his beach bar. It old kind of cool if you and Uncle C did a once co op. Krishna does his thing even if I many times has wondered if you guys sync agendas.. like Krishna (online Bali driver tv) today I’m in Ubud, 10 mins later or earlier you’re todays vlog from Ubud.. I know it’s a coincidence but it’s kind of fun.

Before I come to Bali, people online are saying Bali people are the nicest people but my gosh it's the total opposite, they're the nasty people ever, as soon as you say no to them, they put on a face.. Another example is, I want to give them tip after a meal but they trying to scam and pretend they press wrong button.. Etc. Won't recommend people coming here

Sadly some people take advantage of that freedom. Balinese authorities have deported 59 Russians in just 8 months. Probably only the tip of the iceberg. They have ZERO respect for Bali. Nice video, btw.
