Everyone should have a homeland that they love as much as I love mine. As a white of European descent, I salute you, and all other warrior peoples of the world. May we be friends, and join forces against those who wish to take our freedom. Very interesting to study African martial arts, needs more appreciation.

the music sounds very similar to mizmar music we have in the hijaz (western) region of Saudi Arabia. i always knew our mizmar dances were a mix of African and Arab traditions and were at one point a living martial arts system. Iv also seen videos of real fights breaking out at mizmars and the way the guys fought and held the stick was very similar to the tahtib shown in your channel.

There was constant exchange between Arabia and North/Eastern Africa for millennia materially, culturally, economically, and in human capital. Antarrah ibn Shaddad and Al Hilali are perfect examples of this exchange between the two regions.
