    Because those network shows spend wayyy too much time arguing and debating about nonsense. Looks like he'd rather share an opinion and speak truth. What he should do is probably start a KZread channel and break down film, that would be amazing.

    The weapons are his fault. Because if he wasn't the lowest paid player in the NFL, they couldn't afford them. He's 40x more valuable than his competition due to his contract. And if he weren't elite, he wouldn't be able to utilize all those weapons. Whereas someone like Lamar locks onto the primary target and then moves to schoolyard ball.

    I'm sorry but Mahomes is not 'more athletic' than Purdy. Mahomes is a 4.80 guy. Purdy is 4.84 BUT is faster in the first ten yards. They both throw at 55MPH. Purdy has somewhat bigger hands while Mahomes is somewhat taller. They both move well and can do off-schedule plays with the best of them. The only real difference is everybody in the NFL got Purdy wrong!!!! It's time to drop the narrative BS and just admit Purdy is getting elite production because, like it or not, he's playing at an elite level. And, yes, he has made 5-guys miss. Pay more attention when you watch.

    the real difference is Purdy plays for the SF 49ers. Montana had almost the same criticism, to a tee. Young too was heavily criticized by media, even when he was extremely productive and consistent whenever he saw the field. Guy was persecuted as if he was a witch in the middle ages until he got that ring. You're a franchise QB shining at your first years wearing Red and Gold? Media will hate you.

    The 49ers with Kyle had 4th quarter comebacks before, it just wasn't when they were trailing *entering* the 4th. The Rams taking a lead in the last game of the regular season two years ago, when the 49ers needed to win to get in to the playoffs and Rich was warning the Rams not to let them in, Rams took a TD lead with 2-3 minutes left and the 49ers came back with a two minute drill to tie and won in OT. Come to thing of it, the Packers snow game that playoff was also a 7 point lead in the 4th that the 49ers came back from. Twisting facts to fit a narrative is lame

The line play in college has been dumbed down so bad that the NFL coaches do not have the time to coach these guys up to play NFL football. What's even more sad is despite Brady beating Mahomes in the regular season the AFC championship and the SB there are fans now downplaying how good Brady was and are literally glazing even the most routine throws that Mahomes makes even when I show them a clip of Brady making the same throw. Freaking shxt is sad.

  • @Connurrr

    Only playoff loss against his name so far, he only took a handful of snaps before getting an elbow injury requiring surgery on his throwing arm. 6 months later he comes back, gets the 1 seed and gets to the SB. That's all you need to know. Just that on its own is enough to give him his flowers.

    Purdy is a baller but i do wish he was taller which wouldve made his life much easier to see where the defenders are and can throw over the d line and less chance of getting a pass being batted down.

    People who should know better keep criticizing him for the 2 Big cross back throws. The TD to Brandon in traffic earlier this season and to Jennings for the 1st down against the Lions. Neither were in any way desperation nor put at risk. The boy has that much control and confidence. Let er Rip. That’s what he do best.

  • @dreadjack117
    @dreadjack1176 ай бұрын

    Kurt, Jennings only caught a check-down in the final drive. Did you get that mixed up with the earlier drive where Brock was also playing really well? Did you also forget in that final drive, the dart thrown to Aiyuk over the middle or the perfectly timed ball to Connolly on the out-breaking corner or maybe Brock running the ball into the redzone to all but win the game? Might wanna get your head checked Kurt.

    Dude back in Kurt’s day running around was frowned upon because you were viewed as lacking in QB pocket passing and game managing. I just heard somebody praising Mahomes (Steve Young I believe) for being a better game manager this season and seeing it as progress and development. potato potahto doing whatever it takes to win. Couldn’t ask for more.

    It's really interesting to me that great former QBs like Warner, Manning, Brady, Montana and Young, all have nothing but glowing reviews for Purdy but people refuse to believe them. Instead, they ride with the media "experts" like Nick Wright and Steven A who talk about Purdy as if he bullied them in high school. The narrative is insane. I'll ride with the actual football experts.

    When Mahomes will's the chiefs to a win it's Mahomes greatness but when Brock wills the niners to a win against both GB and Detroit then it's Shanahan's scheme, you know cuz Shani's a genius, but I guess Reid isn't.

  • @TheTrippleTKA

    I actually agree with Warner. Brock wasn't actually good vs the Lions. Yes, he made plays that he needed to make and he bailed his team out and showed an aspect of his game that wasn't utilized. So when you think of that way, you just gotta say, yup, he is a gamer, he just got it done. Something the previous Niners QBs couldn't do - when the system failed show up. PURDY was carrying the system for once. But I'd much rather he make the throw from the pocket and be the non-playmaker QB that he's meant to be. He's not there to scramble and make it happen. He's there to be a pocket QB. Niners are screwed if Purdy has to rush for any yards let alone have more rushing yards than Lamar

    Keep talking about this kids weapona and not the fact he is in the superbowl his second year. You could put Lamar Jackson, Dak or maybe even Allen in here and they still might not make it to the superbowl. The kid isn't the most athletic but he definitely seems to have the intangibles like the ability to make the correct reads and stay calm under pressure.

    maybe Brock just sees better (zones, reading coverage) so he plays better and it makes it seem easier sooooo he doesn't have to run, escape as much as Jackson or Allen or Mahomes so it doesn't seem as he is working as Hard as they have too to be good! People unless you have played a game in his shoes (yes in the NFL), relax, kickback watch and enjoy. Stop the criticism, you all just look foolish! Enjoy it's a lot less stressful!
