TNA wasted him even worse. After his world championship reign had him job to Sting, Big Poppa Chump Steiner and Big Lazy Nash all in the space of 1 month. Orlando Jordan in early 2010, Double J at the end of 2010.

I feel like all wrestling promotions that come from 1 specific arena or venue always have a special kind of atmosphere to them, ECW, early TNA, NXT, Progress, PWG etc, all kept to one specific place for recorded shows. Helped add a personality that was unique to each promotion.

WWE tried to repeat this but TNA forever takes the crown for this feud.

I loved their first trilogy of matches, but they should have held off on Joe vs. Angle for a year. Build it up, having Joe and Angle destroying everyone else in their path. Then having Joe go over. Their matches are great, they are classic but the build up could have been more.

joe flew in that belly to belly suplex... and him manually opening up kurt's face was probably one of the attributes of TNA's reputation for intensity.

2005-2009 TNA was by far the best wrestling promotion on TV. In between the Jeff Jarrett and Hulk Hogan era's.

13:04 always loved that corner enziguri kick.

Imagine of Joe had won this one instead of the rematch... That would have been the right call honestly and build to the rematch as Joe being the only one to defeat Kurt and Kurt working back towards the rematch. And make it for the belt. That would have been a better story. But still TNA's best feud.
