No one is stating the obvious: the relationship between student and teacher is sacred. The WWE didn't take that relationship seriously and because of it this situation happened. You don't try to humiliate the talent you're fostering for ratings. If you don't treat them like students why would you expect them to treat you as teachers?

The first offender here was whoever wrote into the show a shoot fight between a wrestler who just came out of an injury and a bunch of kids that were ABSOLUTELY NOT ready to face this kind of situation in the right way. The ego of both contenders did the rest, Angle thought he could do the fuck he wanted because he's Angle, Puder thought that beating him clean would have skyrocketed his value (and with clean I mean doing exactly what Angle asked, beating him by the rules of a shoot match), little did he knew that WWE has always hated those who went into business for themselves. Angle got humiliated, Puder got punished, everybody lost.

    1. Kurt shouldn’t have challenged those contestants the way he did if it wasn’t scripted. 2. Daniel shouldn’t have tried to take Angle down with his skills, especially in a WWE ring and against an established character. 3. The referee did his job amazingly! He deserves more credit here. 4. His million dollar contract was actually a 4 year 250K a year contract with the option to end it after the first year if he wasn't living up to expectations, and he knew that when he signed it so no one can really complain he didn't get his chance, he did but he wasn't the draw they hoped he'd be. Puter obviously didn’t believe he could make it in wwe. Miz, morrison got those deals minus rhe 250 k, look at them now. Mr kennedy said indys he got 100 dollars a match, a hotdog, and a handshake. Yeah, this was a massive L for Kurt, both at the time and now. 1. He didn't narrow it down to Puder and pick him. He just embarrassed one of the other contestants, and then asked if anyone else wanted to get in the ring, Puder was the only one who volunteered, and Kurt told him to "get his ass in the ring." 2. If this was a "pin only" thing, it wasn't explained to either Kurt or Puder beforehand. Kurt tried multiple times to get him into a front facelock. Puder was able to lock his arm into a pretty well executed Kimura, and had the referee not counted the weakest pin you will EVER see, Angle would have had his arm broken. 3. Puder wasn't punished because of his attitude, he was punished for making Angle look bad. 4. Puder wanted more money, because WWE stiffed him out of $750 000. It was supposed to be a million dollars to win, they paid him 250k, and then offered him an extension worth about $37k a year.

They wanted Kurt to go rough on the Tough Enough kids for real, no script, no pre-determined outcome whatsoever, and Kurt picked the wrong guy. Puder could've broken Kurt's shoulder (it was a kimura, not an armbar), had it not been for the ref. The ref should've been commended for thinking on his feet and made it like Kurt 'pinned' Puder.

You're saying you don't believe he sleeps a few hours a night because that's not what the average person does? Are you saying we are all the exact same genetically? If you and I sleep let's say, 3hrs. Are you saying we will have the exact same symptoms as each other? Is this what you're trying to say? I don't want to put words into your mouth. But it sounds like you're saying we are all exactly the same. Do you think Kurt could be exaggerating a bit? Maybe it's 3-4hrs? Also, since everyone who knows Vince says the exact same thing of him running on very little sleep, do you think they all got together to make up a lie about Vince McMahons sleep schedule? If so, what incentive would they have to do that?

@DSN262 You didn't address what I said about everyone having the same genetics. Do you think there's a certain percentage of the population, even if small, that can function on little sleep? Do you think Vinces elite level diet and workout routine might help him push past it? Or what about the steroids he takes because that gives you a ton of energy. I think you're stereotyping people and not taking any other details into consideration. 2hrs per night isn't normal, it's far from it. But Vince is also far from the average person. He has a better diet than 99 percent of people. He has a strict workout routine that 99 percent of people do not have. He is on drugs that 99 percent of people aren't on. He could just have those genetics that makes it so he doesn't have to sleep much. I can't function under 5hrs. My body shuts down. I'm dead. But I know people who do perfectly fine on that. For me, I experience severe exhaustion, memory loss, diaherrea, etc. I won't even be aware of the date. It could be a Friday and I think it's a Monday. We can be in November and I think it's october. I feel the best on 8hrs. I can still function perfectly well on 7hrs. 6.5 is a little off but still good. 6hrs I'm off but nothing severe. 5.5hrs I'm very tired and my memory starts to go. On 5hrs I have pretty bad memory loss and diaherrea. 4.5hrs I feel my whole body about to die. This is me. Other people I talk too doesn't experience this. I am the more extreme example in the other direction. My point of telling you this is, we are all different. We are built differently. I knew a girl from school who had issues and she only got like 2-3hrs of sleep per night. She was perfectly fine. When you have 7 billion people on Earth, you'll find extreme examples. There are people who are allergic to the sunlight and water. You talk about wrestlers kissing his ass. How is saying Vince only sleeps a few hours a night kissing someone's ass? Is that suppose to be an achievement? I don't see this being true. And then they'll have stories of him working out at 3AM and answering phone calls and then going to meetings at 7AM. I very much doubt that everyone is making this stuff up.

Puder saying he is in a main event when he is on 30-man Royal Rumble shows the ego. We have lot of Daniel Puders around us and we all know how those guys are. Trying to project to be something bigger than reality doesn't earn any respect.

You Angle simps can keep denying all you want and keep insulting me in the comments, but Angle got humiliated by a legitimate fighter. He thought he would pull a JBL and try and bully a rookie and show off for the crowd. Instead, it backfired and he got taken down quicker than CM Punk's UFC career. If the refs hadn't intervened, Angle would either gotten hurt or humiliated.. Guys like Angle and JBL like to present themselves as "Tough Guys" until they get knocked down a peg. Remember that tough guy JBL got legitimately knocked by ECW announcer Joey Styles.. Those guys are really tough until they're confronted.. Despite their sizes. Most wrestlers are not tough guys. They're not even good fighters. The Brawl For All proved that.

This isn't what happened at all, we literally have video of this incident and I remember watching it live. Everyone was out of the ring, they just did a "emasculate the new guys" segment where kurt gets one of them in the wring and just man handles them in front of the crowd. Kurt then went and screamed "Anyone else want some?!" and puder, obviously sick of what was being done to them and an actual fighter, raised his hand. It wasnt "pin only" as that was never discussed or even mentioned, and daniel shot in on kurt and had him in a kimura lock from the bottom. Puder had it cranked hard enough he was on his side and his shoulders were not flat. The ref made a quick count and predended puder lost. Kurt instantly got up and started screaming in his face "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" mad that he had just about been outed in front of millions and beaten by a new guy. Daniel then just left the ring and the segment ended. Frankly, I think Puder was in the right. He was a legit fighter with legit history, and a bunch of greased up roid rage body builders who pretend fight once a week was disrespecting him constantly. The fact is all of them like to think they are "hookers" or "shooters" but they encountered a real trained shooter, and it made them look bad. So they punished daniel non stop till he left the business.

Kurt lies here. 1) Kurt went off script 2) He says Puder sucks then says he is a talented kid 3) He was on tons of pain meds back then 4) Puder had NO CLUE what was going to happen 5) It was a key lock not an arm bar 6) The ref saved him by counting the pin fall I saw it live & knew Kurt screwed up. It didn't look right. I was actually wrestling at the time & the boys I worked with spoke about this & we all knew that spot seemed off. Of course years later we would find out we exactly why.

Before anyone forgets Daniel Puder won the Million dollar Tough Enough challenge. He was right to decline and have animosity with WWE. It was false advertisement if they never intended to give that kind of money to a newbee.

WWE have a history of treating good wrestlers or talents badly. If they had ever given Puder a chance, he would be better than them all put together.
