The WWE Spinner belt is my favorite championship

Now I wish we could have gotten a custom Kurt Angle WWE Championship. It would have looked badass with the eagles and red, white, and blue colors. And maybe some medals on there. Gold!! Damn it sounds and looks badass in my head

That Cena title reign was just off and very divisive. He went from an over rapper gimmick to taking on his the marine gimmick and it was very vanilla.

Yeah I think of Jerchio won the title for a bit and dropped it back off to Cena it may have been different. There was just so much talent on Raw that people wanted to see have that big spot. Jerchio, Angle, Egde, Christian etc. But I think as well that Cena and Batista weren't at that level of main event in terms of match quality.

"(Cena) had everything ready"... Except the wrestling skills. It took him 10 years as champion before he started having decent matches on his own. Until then, he was led through his better matches by top guys (HHH, HBK, Edge) who were out of his league. And no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't enjoy his first World title defenses against Kurt, because I knew Vince was lining up Cena to beat Kurt for "credibility"...but it would've taken too much suspension of disbelief for me to accept that Cena had a chance of beating him. To be honest, Cena is the main reason I stopped watching regularly. Just couldn't stomach a guy with such poor in-ring skills being put over so many other superior performers, and I guess now we know why...because Vince uses wrestling to push merchandise sales. 🙄

@KnucklesWTD I prefer steak over sizzle, personally. But I am fully aware that it's all about marketing and merchandising, and that Vinny Mac became such a success because he knew how to do it better than his contemporaries who primarily thought locally rather than globally.

That’s John cena later on and in 2007 there was hardly any over talent left. He didn’t even get the hate until Edgeheads and ECW marks started to bash him hard making it a thing to do because Cena would embrace it. His Smackdown matches are not boring and that’s him at his earliest and he was very over there from the start too.

Lol it did not take him 10 years at all this just a lie. They also didn’t all carry him in those matches either. You don’t have to be the biggest Cena fan but you watch all types of terrible wrestlers hold world tiles before him yet you didn’t drop
