I JUST got this ship and played my first game right before i watched this video. I love this ship. The bismarck is my favorite T7. I feel like this is just a better bismarck but with terrible steering🤣. Keep it up spartan im sure im not the only one loving these double features too.

I've had this ship for a long time.I don't hate it nor like it.The pros of the GK Is that it is fast for its size,Has 12 420mm Guns in a broadside,has the good traditional long range german secondaries ,has a lot of hp, it can hurt someone real bad if you get those guns on target and has strong German turtleback armor.The problem is that there are alot of shima's and other stealthy japanese torpedo boats.This ship is huge and if you are caught unaware by those destroyers it is back to port mentioning the other fact that it has a small torpedo belt which means that those torpedoes are dealing close to full damage.The other thing is the ship is huge so you are detected from far away so even a yamato can outspot you so that gives destroyer and firestarters a chance to reposition quickly.So anyway that was actually an awsome video.(very long comment)

I finally got the GK today. Took it out once in AI to test it. Then played Standard. Exactly what you said happens, happened to me. Shiva got me without me ever seeing him. It's as if you were watching my game. 🤣🤣🤣

I like these double features.

I love the G.K but only thing I hate about it is its turn time radius ....I get its the largest ship in game but perhaps a small buff to help it ??

Kurfürst needs a buff. It’s a good ship, but it lacks some features.

Yeah I tend to keep an eye on others HP around me so I can decide how much I can take vs when I need to kite

Been playing console WoW's for about 2 months. Love it so far. Started "grinding" the Shimakazi and the Kurfurst, so it sounds like at least one of them was a good move LOL. I did just unlock the North Carolina, which is currently my favorite ship.

I’m almost done with the Yami and Alaska bureau projects. I thought about starting GK next because I have most of the pieces (ships, commanders) already to speed up those segments, but I’m getting the idea that Kleber and/or Gearing might be better for the on-deck circle…

OK, Spartan, I know what he was doing. The destroyer. I do that only if we lose the cap. But if it hasn’t been captured or it’s being captured, I will run in their contest it. And try to find the destroyer. But if we end up losing the cap or I get pushed out of the cap, then I will let them take it, flank around that island and do a reverse capture.

I'm on the last two tiers of the Bureau for the G.K. and I can't wait to take it for a spin. I'll probably die horribly but it's been a long time waiting!

Do you think GK needs some buffs? He fell behind HARD when Shimakaze came into the game I believe his hydro needs to be buffed and his concealment needs some buffing

I play the Khab as a light cruiser. I also used a cruiser commander to lower my rudder shift to make it much more agile. I lose out on TnT because of that. So I’m sorry, but I’m going to be one of those Khab players that infuriates you on a regular basis.

I know you probably won't come back and look at this video but when you pushed out to the Yamato and conqueror you should have tamed the island and reversed out only using your back guns and having the secondaries made up for it and when the torps come you just accelerate out of the way and if you get pressured hard you can duck back behind the island and heal and reset for another fight

I really like the fact that we have the same point of view on the GK and the other two but i do not agree on the fun factor, i don't play Yamato and Conqueror that often because its just easy, its like Cleveland, you have a bad day, take your OP ship and get those 200k, while GK, a good game in it is much more enjoyable than a good game in Yammy, i don't know if you get my point tho... xD Still, really cool to see a double feature on Großer Kurfurst !👍

ok, i have to strongly disagree with your statement in that first showcase about the russian DD not running TNT. CQC/cap contesting DDs like USN should be more inclined to run TNT, because of their style of play. the russians however are in no way cap contesters let alone CQC gun boats. let me explain why: you will get out spotted by the large majority, *but* it can be used to your advantage - think of it as “a ship is within Xkm of your detection”, and combine that with your high speed, you can locate DDs that way, without TNT. i have done this tactic many a time, and has not once failed me. your gun ballistics are better suited at range due to flat shell trajectory + good velocity. the moment you start to engage in CQC, you aren’t utilising it to full effect. anyone who wants to have that style of play should go for the akizuki or the fletcher. period. but then again, people can build it however. there’s no right or wrong - if they don’t wanna run TNT, or use a certain setup because of a build they have, that’s up to them at the end of the day. hope you’re feeling better after the covid!

Fair enough but I still think that every gunboats should have TnT for finding and disposing of DDs in exactly this sort of scenario.

Is it possible to citadel Gneisenau normally? I was able to land one on it with New Mexico, and I'm not sure if RNG was with me or if this is a normal occurrence

The best secondary commander build isn't the New commander I think It's Cilliax with hipper and Geißler as Inspiration. While Ciliax doesn't give you a passive slot for secondary reason he has the tier two Perk 'Porcupine' which gives overall more range and dispersion for your secondary then the New commander. Also gives better shell grouping ontop of that. +12 range/+15 grouping/+18 dispersion maxed out if I am not mistaken If the gain is linear haruna gives only +5range and +15 dispersion Giving up either hipper or Geißler would mean less range or reload speed which are better then a few dispersion points

Play your highest tier ship that you can consistently do well in to earn the most. For most it'll be tier 5 or 6

I’d say so.You get hit for full pens from battleships though the superstructure.Or you get hit for 18k when bow on from 16 km away.

Naw I think it is fine it is tough and accurate and has ridiculous secondaries it is just too big for its own good and makes a very easy target

Honestly if you played with me that Gearing would have been back to port 10 minutes before.. i hated so much dds not doing their job that I became a dds player myself 😂👌🏻🤌🏻

@@noseyparker6969 obviously but its too big and cumbersome that you will always be hit, very hard to dodge torps unless your sonar is on but then its only 60 seconds so it forced you to sit in the back of the map sniping from miles out unless their team is useless the secondary’s are nice but not good enough unless you have a full secondary built but then you have to get too close to DD’s with torps that are too fast and such high damage its not worth it just feels outclassed by all other legendary BB’s

I one-shotted a conqueror today. It was amazing

However 2-3 shima's and a yudachi is just to much imo, because it seems no body wants to kill the dds 😓 an makes me salt af tbh. Also how do you recommend playing the Khabarovsk? I've tried countless times to dd hunt an destroy, but that 2-3 kilometer stealth advantage other dds have especially the shima just gets me nuked tbh. Don't know if it's just the crappy teams I get on, or if its me just seems like the reds do much better destroying dds than the blue team does.

To me , i play mostly alone without a division, battleships in Tier 7 and legendary are almost unplayable ....the dds on your Team are just always the dumbest mfers. They never Spot, hide behind their own bbs or yolo in and die in 1 Minute. Radar cruisers dont know how to use their gimmick etc....just no fun at all

See that’s what I don’t understand you had the Bismarck broadside only about 8 kilometres away and you only did about 10000. The GK seems to have weak guns.

Never play it

you are abusing the automatic aim, thats not a skill, you are in decline
