Early mornings at the pier has a little magic to it. I am going to try to make more time for fishing this year. Sometimes I get so busy with every day life. I forget about the simple things like fishing that makes me happy. Thank you for watch friend.

Hey yeti u are so entertaining and insightful that was nice that u were wed on the beach did u have a reception sound u knock it out and didn't bother with a reception but as frank Sinatra sang u did your way. Love u video people must realize when their at the beach get up and experience the sun rise and also the sun set makes u know that God is here and he looking out for us all I hope ur wife joined that morning one of the most remanic thgs u can do together although my husband Charles preferred to sleep in and I was out there alone love to observe sunrises at Myrtle Beach but truely love Wrightsville Carolina , kure b, fort Fisher and Southport usually all in one trip that's why I like that location such much history food fun and a time to be with the lord . Have a great one to u and the Mrs. By the way what is her name lol

Hello Theresa. Thank you for the kind words. Our wedding day was amazing. We started off the the wedding at 6am sunrise. Then everyone went to eat breakfast at the Sawmill Restaurant in Wilmington. Then everyone enjoyed some time on the beach. And then we ended the day with simple backyard cookout for our reception.🙂 Thanks again for watching. Have a blessed day.

Got there in 1959. Spent the early 1960's there and in Carolina Beach. Fort Fisher was ignored by the world. Lots of beach and NO Condos

Hey Peter. Do you remember the Steel Pier? I read it was located close to the Carolina Beach boardwalk. Thanks for watching.

@@HitchHikingYeti I do, and I remember going to movies on the boardwalk, and working at the Dairy Queen near the marina, and hurricane Donna, and learning to waterski by Susie Bunch, the state water skiing champion, and the bookmobile. A whole different life time ago

If you are staying in Southport. You need to take the ferry to Fort Fisher. I would say Kure Beach pier is about 3.5 miles away from Fort Fisher ferry port. Have a nice visit to the area. I have a video on my channel about the Fort Fisher ferry. Check it out! Thank you for watching.
