Ilomantsin kamerapesällä Pohjois-Karjalassa on nyt kolme sääksenpoikaa. Tostaina 8.6. kuoriutui kaksi, ja kolmas ponnisti maailmaan sunnuntaina 11.6. Ensimmäisen munan haudonta-aika oli 38 vuorokautta ja kahden seuraavan 35 vuorokautta. (11.6.2023)

There are now three osprey chicks in the Ilomantsi camera nest in Finland. Two hatched on Thursday 8 June, and the third was born on Sunday 11 June. The incubation period for the first egg was 38 days and for the next two 35 days. Located on the Russian border, Ilomantsi is the easternmost municipality of Finland and the continental part of the European Union.
