Kunkin KP182 MOD: Adding Serial and USB to a KP182

In this video, I show how to modify a Kunkin KP182 digital load. I am adding serial communication on the KP182, just like the KP184 electronic load has. I am using a USB device instead of RS232. This mod is simple to do with basic soldering skills. The KP182/184 uses a modbus protocol.

Hopefully, Y'all find this useful. I couldn't find any info on this before I made the video, but I guess it's because you really should get the 184 and not the 182 😅
A close-up of the top would have been helpful where you tapped in to the serial connection!

Makes sense. It's pin 6 and 7 of U23 though.
