Kungsleden 2021 | Abisko - Kebnekaise - Nikkaluokta | Vlog While Reading a Book on Climate Change
Initially I put this video to "unlisted", thinking it wouldn't with my otherwise human rights/ academic oriented KZread channel. But after great feedback, I thought "Hey, why not!"
I hiked the Kungsleden in July 2021 (6 days, initially planned 9), and it was my first ever hike that lasted more than a few hours. I brought along Naomi Klein's new book "On Fire", and this video is the product of both me having fun and also reflecting on the vulnerable ecosystem in Northern Sweden and its interrelations with the indigenous Sami (Sápmi) people.
