I love Shaolin Kung Fu if I had the chance to train I would be so happy, now I'm training Taekwondo ITF and Karate Shotokan... I'm from Africa in Mozambique, and my dream is to be a Shaolin Monk

I started in Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. Than I trained Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Capoeira. Now I am green belt in Shotokan and white in BJJ. But I will always love Shaolin Kung Fu.

For all the fans im a muay thai fighter and ive benn judoka 5 years and i can tell you that martial art was made just to look better in movies or in show there are some right things but kick to the head is not something you wanna do in a street fight because you have two legs why the hell you need to put one or even both of them in the air if you fall down and he cought you you have no chance to stay alive because there is no reffere to stop the fight he can keep punching you till your death

That is false. Shaolin is not the cradle of chinese martial arts. When Bodidharma arrived to Shaolin Temple, martial arts were practiced in China. It was very much important for chinese martial arts, but it was not the cradle.

James R that's not what he meant. He meant that, before bodidharma arrived, there were already martial arts in china. But he taught the Chinese about buddhism and formed kung fu, allowing it to become the primary art

There was no evidence that Boddhidharma taught any martial arts to Chinese. He only taught some yoga meditation excercise to those monks. All the evidences and records proves that various styles of ancient Chinese martial arts had already existed thousands of years before Boddhidharma came to China. Even our Taoist internal energy practices / Qigong / Neigong existed long before any contact with foreigners. So stop telling people about how Chinese martial arts came from india which is purely lies.
