No, it’s not rational, One Piece still airing doesn’t exclude the possibility that members of the crew could die.

Other shounen anime have moments where the main characters lose but nothing like this. When this happened at first, Oda acted like One Piece was basically over and even after that there was no regroup and resuming the journey after 5-10 episodes like in most shows. The Strawhats journey was just straight up over for quite a while.

Nobody is mad because he figured it out. The anime literally tells you that they're being sent somewhere. I feel like people are mad because he kept repeating it constantly. Every time the others were getting into it and taking a moment seriously, he made sure to remind them nothing bad is happening. I could care less. Your reason for being mad is dumb cause some of y'all saying he spoiled the reaction because he said nothing bad actually happened to the strawhats, which anyone with commonsense would know its true, you can't expect to have 900+ episodes and actually think that the strawhats succumb to faith. That's what sets One Piece apart, really... the main characters just plain do not take any W's. And the few they do get always come with asterisks, some sort of unusual circumstance that downplays the achievement. Like being literally immune to the enemy's attacks, or absorbing the power of 100 additional people through an ability that isn't even their own, or getting a random powerup that wasn't foreshadowed, hinted at, or even suggested might be potentially possible before it suddenly happens.

lol I remember this part long ago, If I remember it correctly, I think Kuma was also trying to show the straw-hats how weak they were by humiliating them, so they'll be prepared for the New World before letting their ego get in the way again. It's been years since I watched OP, so I'm catching up again so I can watch the newer Eps without being lost.

Bruh stop being a toxic ass community, it was obvious to Pat just as much it was obvious to us the first time we watched. I'm excited to watch their reactions to where everybody ended up.

Man this episode is so epic & sad, love it This is the part where u see morias prediction was correct lol Also I imagine 27:58 was probably moria after his fight with kaido but didn’t have a kuma to save him so ended up the way he did.

If they are enjoying it this much now I can’t imagine how they react to the rest of one piece. It’s crazy that it gets so much better. Might be they’re faves when it’s all said and done.

As a One Piece fan I'm just glad I get to watch people discover this awesome anime. I get to relive the anime through them. Everyone reacts and enjoys shows differently. Everyone that's salty cause they not as emotional as other people, y'all need to chill seriously, be happy they're enjoying the show

I'm glad they mentioned how great the voice acting is. Cause there's still some people out there who prefers to watch dubbed anime series. Dubbed lame af in my opinion. They always sound goofy. There are some good VAs but pretty much there is guaranteed to be a bad one. Legit the only dubbed anime I prefer is DBZ and I think it’s mainly because it’s what I grew up with.

I like how Pat was the only one who noticed Raleigh cut Kizaru’s face. My very first time watching this scene, it went over my head

So what if people thought his reaction was annoying. They’re allowed to think that. I like Pat(one of my faves), he also be annoying sometimes. People get annoyed with Rob and Jerry all the time and don’t hear people defending. Nothing wrong with his opinion, he just kept repeating it every time which imo was annoying. Glad Wellz chimed in and said they don’t know that Kumas helping though.

Kuma is king. Literally and figuratively. His story is so sad.

The whole series of one piece is like oda setting chess pieces. Nothing is done for no reason. Seeing you guys learn more information about the series is great. The author reveals a lot at this point but there is so much more crazy reveals.

Is no one gonna talk about how Ethan pin pointed exactly what's the strawhats gonna do after this?

You'd have a point, if the reactors weren't very visibly empathizing with the character who was the focal point of the scene (Luffy) at every moment along the way. In short, you're just an idiot who wasn't paying attention, whining for the sake of whining about things that literally didn't happen.

The scene with Kuma dismantling the Strawhat crew was incredible impactful and emotional. From the beginning of the show, no matter what they faced they always emerged victorious. This was their first complete and utter loss. It was shown with the losses to Aokiji and Cp9 that the further they progressed, the more stronger opponents they were going to face. Luffy watching his crew vanish before his eyes made him feel completely helpless and caused him to break down. Imagine watching this episode as it was airing for the first time. You didn't know what the hell happened 🤣💀. Ultimately Kuma splitting them up saved them from getting killed by Kizaru and the Pacifistas.

They all been knowing that they were fine. They knew his ability, they seen Kuma say something to Rayliegh. They knew they werent dead cuz theyre 500 more episode they still needa watch. Pat didnt ruin anything, neither of them did. They arent stupid, they know they alive and jus sent to a different place.

PAT RUINED the reaction (for me) y'all lets be real 🤷🏾‍♂️ it is what it is, the end discussion was great, but the live reaction itself meh, he literally repeated the same thing 9 times every time someone disappeared, and mad it hard for the others to just simply watch and feel for themselves by shoving his own opinions down their throats, you can even see wellz at one point like "yo this is driving me crazy" and just trying to express his frustration completely being ruined by pat not even letting him talk... because guys "its okay" but props to him for being logical Ig as If it wasn't obvious. even with 600+ or however many episodes for all of you saying that same bs line you can still be emotionally hit by a scene regardless of knowing what happens in the future. Best take of how others were feeling. It was not about Pat being right or having a brain; it was how his opinion was ruining the others reaction.

He's helping them for a much more personal reason than he likes them. Like he has a deep indirect connection to one of the straw hats.
