In our current application example, we are talking about pressing and testing of a ball head into a wishbone by means of a Universal Joining Module and a Universal Torque Module. First, a Teflon inlay, the ball head and a deformation sleeve are inserted into the control arm and pressed. To monitor the quality of the press-fit process, the force-distance curve is recorded and visualized in real time. Subsequently, the breakaway torque is determined with the torque module.
