Kubota SVL 90 Loading wet Manure

Cleaning out an extremely wet pen at one of our customers yards. Bottom was somewhat hard but too much rain and snow makes it a lake. He definitely needs to find a way to drain some water off.

    The Gent So new, aren't you worried about taking a big monetary hit on trading it in? How many hours are you putting on them before you trade them in? Are you worried about warranty issues or down time or just like new equipment?

    KarasCyborg i put about 2000 hours on a machine, about two seasons worth. I don't like owning them without warranty. You can see we run them pretty hard. I also like new equipment. I spend a lot of time in these things, lol i like them new.

    +The Gent how do you like the kubotas? Any major issues with them? I've been a bobcat owner my whole life, but I'm not really happy with the new M series so I've been looking at other brands.

    +Concrete and Construction I am very happy with the Kubota machines. I run the SVL 90-2. Had 4 of them now, no major complaints that would make me switch brands. Very roomy and quiet, I like that they are a little narrower than most machines. I tried a new bobcat and didn't like it at all. I run these loaders quite hard, and they hold up.

    Ya those things really are quite amazing in the mud. I have had them deeper, and still not got stuck. The are as close to unstoppable in manure as you can get, I have tried everything. These work best.

    Yes it sure is. Its ridiculous actually. He is no longer in cattle, and I don't mind that at all. Haha. It's a shame, with proper management it could have been a nice cattle yard.

    They do, but this area is used only in the winter by this farmer, so its all frozen. Its a poor setup with no drainage so there is a lot of moisture accumulates there. Thanks for the compliment, i put a lot of time in that loader.

    This is crazy, ive never seen anything so ridiculous, why didnt they suck the liquid out with a tanker then the muck would be easier to get to as the tractor and spreader could move a lot closer to the pile, i wouldnt like to think that was my machine in all that liquid, must play havoc with the electrics etc.

  • @spooner516

    @spooner516

    9 жыл бұрын

    Jane Nelson Never had any trouble with electronics, The machines are sealed up tight down below, no water gets near anything. A tanker isnt the answer here, its bringing in ground fill to level the hole off so the water runs away, not pools up like this. But you can't force anyone to do it. We were hired to haul this away, and we did.

    Actually they are in a good spot, with an awesome shelter, but he needs to fill in some dirt, get the slope of the ground back instead of a giant hole. Also The guy videoing this is standing on a Giant hill of manure that he refuses to clean out because of the cost, it that was gone we could attack this pack from all sides, instead of carrying it out one end. Not an economical way to clean your corrals.

    Not something i would put my equipment in. I'd rather spend half a day with a vacuum tank to spread that slurry first, than a week of replacing shaft seals every year...
