love that cab you have for the bx, love it 😍

I do the snow the same way you do. Drag it out and then blow. With the 11 drives I do all are gravel. I use the blade backwards. Nice video. I have done my drives 3 times now. Yesterday the weather went up to 16 degrees and high winds. Now all the snow is gone. Will have to start on getting a frozen base again. Merry Christmas also

The Kubota blower is way better than my JD Blower on my 1025r .. But still cant beat that auto connect deck in summer.

I’ve heard a lot of people advising to skip drive over deck for a rear 3ph finish mower due to having a much better cut and less scalping.

@@beunbad My 3 acres that i mow is anything but flat and level if the deck is adjusted correct the cut is good with no scalping.

Great job! Without that cab you would be cold and wet! Nice 👍

After years of moving snow freezing my butt off without a cab I'll never go back. I enjoy moving snow much more now. The blower is a time saver. Keep on tractoring!

Great job Jon , I finally got all the parts for my front mount on my Kioti and tried it out !!! My 2 acre lot is too small for that big blower so i went next door on both sides of me and played some more !! Awesome fun, even if i don't have a cab!! Good pair of insulated coveralls keeps me warm and dry !!

Great setup. My setup for snow is reversed. I have a loader mounted blade plow on the front and a snowblower in the rear.

Very nice, for everyones situation the right set up is important. I do a lot of backing into driveways and this works the best for me. Keep on tractoring!

I'm not jealous of the snow, but it does look like you're having fun. You could dominate a snow battle royale with that for sure! Thanks for sharing!

That is a slick setup you got there. Just like the cannucks! Utilizing both ends of the tractor. Certainly the right tool for that job.

At first, I thought how far your snow blower was throwing the snow was pretty impressive. But then again, I just saw Ross throw you a package... from another country! Still impressed though. great drone shots Jon. That really shows how far that you are actually blowing the snow. Just don't blow it south. Blow it towards Ross.

Gotta love the rear blade 👍🏻. I heard the same whistle sound from the snowblower, I start hearing it on mine at about 2800-2900 RPM. Have a great Sunday 🙂🙋🏼‍♂️👍🏻

Hard to beat the back drag for cutting right down to the pavement. Did you see East Metro got 20" in some places?

Heres a weirrd comment for you. Last night you actually were apart of my dream.. you were fishing in a small pond behind a subdivision house.. the fish pulled you into the pond while fishing..you then took off down a big hill and ran into a house which was like 1970 interior. Classic eh.. and odd do to a concussion i have very life like dreams

Seasonal reminder, when your blowing snow on the edge of the driveway's, always remember to blow/plow a few feet on the UP side of your entrance, this will help prevent/reduce getting the dreaded city plow berm at the end of your drive.

I typically do and planned to go back once the plow went by. However the plow never came. I guess they expect it all to melt this week and it wasn’t worth it. Keep on tractoring!

Also, I love the drone shots...I don't think I've seen a video that shows any better the distance that the blower is actually throwing the snow. After watching this it's clear that tripod shots just can't convey it! As always, the real star of the show makes her appearance at the end! 👍😉🙂☃️🎄

Always a good time watching you plow/blow snow Jon! I managed to plow twice (1 real good snow storm), and yet now... I could cut my grass again as it was that warm here yesterday! Soon I hope. Did I miss a video? Where did you get the exhaust extension?? My poor loader is calling for that upgrade!

Maybe I missed it in a video some where but is that just an extension on the factory exhaust? Sometimes in windy conditions I get a smell of exhaust in my 2680 (Curtis cab like yours). Curious if that was your issue and if it helped?

The only issue I was getting was the soot from the exhaust was getting all over my snowblower and loader. Ross from Ross on the Land sent me this extension and it works great! Keep on tractoring!

You said your using a drone. It must be able to follow you? Which one do you own?

I just had it hover near my house and land automatically when the battery got low. It's the Mavic Air. I really like it! It has a lot of cool features including the ability to track a moving object. Keep on tractoring!

How far does that thing throw the snow?

Depending on the consistency. But as you seen about 40-50 feet. I should really measure. It’s awesome! Keep on tractoring!

It is a 6 foot blade! I think it just the right size for snow with a BX. Keep on tractoring!

Hi Jon, practical question this morning 😔: how are you finding the insurance market the past couple of years in your jurisdiction? It is insanely expensive here again this year. Again, knock on wood, no claims and I am not a commercial operator. Merry Christmas to you and yours!!🎄🎄

To get insurance to cover my tractor off my property is really expensive to the point where I can't justify it. I keep a fund set aside to cover any damages that might occur. So far I've never needed it. To be honest I've had to rely on a bit of luck and I use extra caution. Keep on tractoring!
